I'm trying to get the two guns on one turret thing. Because it also shoots slag bullets with that skill. I know when the bad guys get "slagged" and turn purple, they go down a lot faster.

The forums for this game has nothing but people showing what the best "build" is for each of the characters depending on how you want to play them.
 
I'm tempted to look at it. I guess there is one build that just demolishes everything with the commando. Its based around explosives and the use of weapons that explode on reload. I love to snipe and thats why I started a game with zero. He has nice perks for sniping.

Yeah, but I'm finding that my Zero character (I'm working the sniper tree) gets PWND in close combat. I think I'm gonna abandon him and start a commando.

There's Badass challenge you can complete by shooting the chains off the shield, freeing the midget. The midget will then attack the Torturer, or you, whatever he feels like doing at that moment.

the commando is very easy to use compared to zero. I did like using zero. I kept a crazy powerfull shotgun with me for when people get close it was something lik e 88x18 damage.
 
I'm rocking a 103x21 shotty with electrocute damage in my backpack. Good for those panic situations where those cloaking bastards just reappear right in front of you. I've had it for awhile now. Just haven't really found a better one even though I've moved up like 5 levels since I got it.
 
The mine craft shootty is nice it shots a huge wall of fire so you don't have to aim so much as just shoot in their general direction
