Why should anyone get a console that's on deck for not even being made anymore in less than a year?

This is the last COD that will be on the 360/PS3. Whatever the next COD is and BF4 are destined for the next gen consoles.

When I first started, it had an issue where I couldn't connect to the server for a minute. But it's been fine for me since.

Was doing some work in HCTDM on Upham's crew (akuton, cryton, oakie, and that bunch) last night and I only had a 3 bar. And they all had 4 bars. Though, I had a guy on my team that was like 18-0 at one point in the match.
 
I'm on the "I tired of buying games I don't like to hang out with the cool kids then they go play something else I don't have and don't like" bandwagon.
 
C'mon now this ain't no bandwagon. You know BARFtron centers around COD. There's other diversions here and there (Borderlands, Ghost Recon, Medal of Honor, Skyrim, Halo, Battlefield, Forza and so on) that some of us branch out to. But almost all of us always get the latest Call of Duty and play the everloving shit out of it for many months.

I think Norkali is one of the few that doesn't want to drink the kool aid at the moment, but we're gonna break him and bring him back to the dark side soon enough.
 
I know. But by the time I can afford the new one, The herd has moved on.

I cancelled my Xbox live anyhow. I don't have time to play online. I go outside now...granted, its to shoot guns or test out the mods on the insane RC Trucks I've been repairing but its still going outside.

sadly a large percentage of big name games that come out on pc are designed with console in mind.

most recent example is dark souls, holy hell that game was ported horribly. you turn game on and it asks for you to press the start button. uh ok is that enter key? then, press the large green A button to select the menus! WHAT? game also only plays at 720p like consoles, thankfully there are mods that let you fix resolution. it's also completely unplayable without some sort of gamepad, luckily the PS3 controllers work great on pc (even though I have to trick computer into thinking its an xbox controller)

Works both ways. I'm wondering how bad the port will be when standalone DayZ comes out and they do a console version. And hasn't there already been some PC originated games that cashed in and ported to console and lost sooooo much in translation. Some of the Half Life 2 engine games come to mind.

As far as pc originals, I only know about the ones that are in XBLA. Minecraft is doing ok but Dungeon Defenders is a fucking joke.

Battlefield 3 was designed for PC and ported to console. Not a perfect translation, but not bad either.
