Blops patch for 360 hit today. Don't really notice any of the nerfs. But the instaspawn on hardcore modes is awesome.


And there's like 5 shift codes active for borderlands 2 all this weekend.

Instaspawn is only on KC/TDM, not CTF unfortunately. Still rocks though. Seriously, play a match on HCKC with BARFtron or other good players, get up to like 90 tags, and then just stop collecting yellow tags and only collect red ones. You can rack up ridiculous points. We had a game last night where our team had 7 sentry guns holding down half the map...2 were mine :teeth I think I ended up like 43-8.

I've got a pretty decent score per minute on HCKC. Definitely a frantic pace now with instaspawn.

Some dude on my team was complaining that there was no repspawn timer anymore. Not sure how in any way there's a downside to it.

Harder to camp and snipe when you don't have time to move between shots? Usually the snipers complain the most...

note - it WAS a full server, but people left several times throughout the game...and a couple quit right before the end.
 
Definitely. To be fair I also had a Lodestar up, and that racked up quite a few kills, but...mainly Wall-E.

Everyone wants just primary gunfighter and perk greed wildcards. Air support almost never gets shot down. Just about anything you call in gets a ton of kills. Stealth chopper, escort drone, whatever...if its in the sky, it'll probably stay up there awhile. And nobody wants to waste a point on carrying an EMP grenade which is THE BEST counter to keeping the fucking Johnny 5 alive.

i just use one of the default classes to shoot stuff down.

Disclaimer: May not be useful in Domination when you need to capture B in an open area and the enemy has spawn raped you so much they have a Warthog up.

I have classes set up to counter both air support & sentry/AGR. Enemy calls air support, switch to class w/ Blind Eye. Enemy calls Sentry or AGR, switch to class w/ EMP gernade. Once the enemy support is gone, switch back to my primary class. Easy peasy. :teeth

I almost exclusively play Domination, so all my classes are set up for Domination, with different weapons depending on the stage. It's not hard to set up one or two counter-classes to defend myself against enemy scorestreaks.
 
Not sure of range or whether it's effective through walls since I usually throw it directly at the object, but I'll try it out later.
