I run engineer and black hat on almost all my classes. Those fucking god damn shock grenades are so annoying, I'd rather just get flat out killed by a claymore instead of getting zapped before an asshole comes out from their campsite and shoots me. Plus a lot of people use care package so it's always nice to reroll that crappy RC car for something better.
Can't stop laughing. One for the ages. I entered a HCTD game late, my team was getting drubbed by double digits, something like 64-52 before I arrived. Pretty much over you'd think since 75 is all you need for the win.
Oh no. It's not over yet. There's a new sheriff in town, and he's got a grenade launcher.
I didn't realize it til I went to Theater and watch the whole match, but the other team had this camper garbage player.
You know the type, corner camping douche, squat down on one knee in a corner, no skill. I went back to Theater and watched the whole game from his POV, he basically sat in the same two spots the entire game, ugh. Not cool. Strangely, he died 3 times from the same dude on my team who was flinging grenades with abandon. Prelude to explosive justice....
Anyway, I get a couple kills, then run around a corner and take the middle before arcing back towards the other corner. I see someone camping there, pointing right at the area I would have taken too if I hadn't decided to take the middle. So he is completely unaware as I climb up on a crate and shoot him in the face. I keep attacking and the same guy respawns off in the distance then immediately camps behind a haybale. I run up to the corner and barely see his camping head sticking up over the haybale, I almost get him but he was camping with the aim button held down already aiming at the spot (FGT!) so he gets me.
I spawn again and run back towards that same area, wound a guy with my rifle but don't kill him and he backs up into a corner. I fire into that corner with the grenade launcher attachment and strangely get two kills when I only saw one guy....yup the same previous camper had been squatting down in that corner, so I was aiming for one dude but I got two. Camping sucker got served.
But it gets better! I'm still standing in about the same spot, so for the hell of it I fire the grenade launcher up over the building towards their spawn, which is a long way off. BOOM BOOM I see two names pop up that I have killed, and one of them was that same camper. Total lucky shot!
And then somebody else on my team gets the final kill and we won 75-74, with me getting two double kills via the grenade launcher to record four kills in the final 6 or 7 seconds of the game. And two of those four kills were the camping dude, how awesome. He dies from my grenade launcher, immediately respawns, takes three of four steps then my grenade launcher kills him again with a miracle shot from outer space. Ahahaha! The other team was so upset, their huge lead was gone, they lose by one point. Moaning into their mics.

Damn. I don't think I have the tube unlocked yet for anything. Does scavenger resupply them at all ?

Scavenger only resupplies lethals/tacticals/bullets, not tubes. Not sure on SMAWs/RPGs.
I have the MTAR, Tar-25 or whatever that 2nd rifle is, and M27 maxed out. Not gold yet but prestiged twice. Working on the PDW-54 or whatever that 2nd SMG is, I'm halfway through the 2nd prestige on it. I doubt I'll bother prestiging any other weapons...maybe the AK.

seriously I rarely see anyone running it. There's certain perks that just aren't really necessary for hardcore. Fast hands, Toughness, and Gas Mask come to mind off the top of my head. Fast hands because firefights don't usually last long enough to have to swap to a secondary to finish anyone off. Toughness because you can only take 2-3 shots max before you die, so there isn't really any "shrugging it off". If you're taking enough damage to flinch you're already dead. Gas mask because you're equally fucked with just a couple spray shots once you've been flashbanged/shocked or whatever.

I use fast hands on my shotgun class. And I don't even run a secondary with it.
Dropping a tactical insertion without fast hands is painfully slow when you trying to stay close to the objective. And with instant spawns now in hardcore, tactical insertion is a viable thing to use.

It's so satisfying to hear the other team crying into their mics after getting grenaded. If you have the War Machine and get them trapped near their spawn......oh the slaughter.

I'm getting sick of the public games where 2 guys run to the front constantly dying and grabbing all the loot. Seriously, the only way I can find an upgrade is to not res others until I've looted that badass. It's like everyone runs around constantly pressing square not even looking if its an item they will actually use

I LOVE getting destroyed by a mic-wearing team who are working together, and hope they play a few games in a row so I can try to figure out their patterns. Then beat them. More often than not it will still be a loss since a coordinated group has a massive advantage, but having the odds stacked against you is the fun part of the challenge. If it were easy it would be boring.
Happened last week, a team that all had the same clan tag vs my team which was a bunch of uncoordinated rushers with no mics...and we barely won somehow. Apparently one of their guys was out of position and I got the killcam win kill on that guy to end the game. The rest of their clan immediately started cursing their own guy so hard until he backed out....pretty sure the clan banished him. So funny.
