The RetroN 5 will have 5 cartridge slots allowing you to use original NES, SNES, Genesis, Famicom, and Game Boy Advance cartridges. You will also be able to use Super Famicom, Mega Drive, Game Boy Color and Game Boy cartridges as well. Because we have created a new chipset, it allows us to ensure that region locks and compatibility are no longer an issue, and the RetroN 5 will play both PAL and NTSC cartridges. CIC lockout chips and FX chips are no longer going to be an issue, as we aim to achieve 100% compatibility with all cartridges.

Gonna fire up the 360 today when I get home. It's been awhile! Probably need to download a patch/update for whatever game I put in the drive.
 
I stopped with trading in or selling games years ago. Unless it's still a really new title (like if you wanted to get rid of the new Bioshock right now), they don't hardly give you shit for it anyways. So you might as well just keep em.



Have begun the "ultimate vault hunter mode" 3rd play through of Borderlands. The collecting begins all over again. Tempted to just grind in the slaughterhouse to get my level up to 61 before really getting far in the story so all the unique loot is level 61.
 
Defiance is slowly getting the bugs worked out. Its gotten multiple patches a day for the last 3 days so they are working hard.
 
"Multiple" a day?!? Damn! My Norton 360 updates itself several times a day, but I've never heard of a game doing that.
 
Yeah. They took the servers down twice yesterday, 3 or 4 times the day before. I only got to play about 20 minutes on Wednesday but I'm ok with that.

Have you ever rented ala GameFly? The way the gaming industry works now(constantly churning out title after title and I usually don't commit to more than 2 games at a time anyway) I've saved so much money just playing a game or two for a week each unless it's a game like Skyrim or Borderlands I'll have my fill of it and then mail it back.
 
Games are starting to do that one time use "online pass" thing. I know I've got at least a couple already. I think BF3 was one for sure. Once the code is used, you have to buy another one. Makes renting or buying used a pain in the ass.

I don't think I even go through enough games to really justify a gamefly subscription anyways. I think I only bought like four games in the past 12 months on the 360.

With some typecast actors doing the voices too. Hell, the characters even look like them a little too.

Looks kinda neat. And I really don't play the zombies mode much at all. I remember giving that George Romero one in the first Black Ops a go and thought that was kinda near too.

Only problem is reminding all my friends who used to kick ass at dom how to play again. They're all about spawn camping with 3 flags capped because we're all prestige masters already and I'm like "dude...KILLS. Cap 2, hold middle, let them come to you." Instead it's "I got these 2 spawn points!" "I got this one!" etc....until I move up and stop holding down the rear lines. Then people spawn all over.
 
That's why my favorite is HC kill confirmed. I just stay on the move so the enemy spawn points don't matter that much.
