BARFTRON HOMEBASE

ok guys i know we have a tech section but figured some of the pc gamer people in here might know better.
I have been building workstations and servers for over 10 years, along with my own video editing/ DVD authoring rigs.
I have 2 new in the box AMD A8 5600K quad core black edition APU's. what would you build with them?
i was looking at putting together a cheap gaming rig to play some older games and maybe borderlands 2 but don't have much money to spend. options would be to sell both and add the money to my savings for when i could afford to build something better. Buy a mother board for one along with ram and piece together a low to mid level gaming rig and sell the second APU or I don't know what to do with them.

what would you guys do?

Looks like Microsoft buckled to all the DRM backlash and changed their tune with a lot of stuff. Still doesn't change the fact the Big brother/Kinect has to be plugged in at all times and the console is a hundred bucks more than PS4.

I'm realllly gonna have to love a game that's exclusive to the Uno to wanna go and get one.

I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about how used game sales is killing the developers. Toyota doesn't bitch about used car sales, paramount pictures doesn't bitch about used dvd sales, music artist don't bitch about used cd sales. Shut the Fuck up and produce a game no one wants to take to gamestop for $0.85 of store credit and you have nothing to worry about. I'm boycotting all EA games until they get rid of their bullshit "online play codes". They are limiting my ability to resale merchandise and it's bullshit.

I'm waiting for clarification on that one. PSN Plus or whatever has always been $50 a year but you could still play multiplayer for free. Plus simply got you access to all the random little indie games and whatever other crap. From what I was initially tracking, PS4 was going to be the same way where you could still play multiplayer for free but nothing else. Which would be fine with me.
 
Multiple sources say it's about the same but PS+ is required to play online multilayer but everything else (Netflix, hulu) is usable with the free account. It still has XB-O beat unless they change something. I get pretty irritated that my Netflix subscription doesn't work unless I have a gold account. I sold off all my spare xboxes (fixing them has been fruitful) and put the $ towards a saltwater tank and ammo but I think I will get the ouya console for streaming and simple games in the bedroom.
