BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Got a Forza edition Xbone. The Forza controller is nicer. It also did not work with the included headset, but it did work with the headset from my original Xbone. Its headset was flakey with both controllers. CHIMA!

I'm getting my ass kicked in NBA 2K16. I can't play D and I turn the ball over on offense. I started the story mode, it sucks.

I tried some Forza multiplayer. What a joke. First turn pileups every race and people taking you out by bumping your rear on straights. I have to admit I laughed gridded up with a 1983 GMC work van and a couple "short bus" school buses. One short bus had the South Park boys in the windows.

Hold on to Truth and Thorn and Suros for pvp. Everything else you can shard. But if you have blue or purple shotguns save them for your Titan quest, you have to dismantle several as one of the final steps.
 
Awkward my ass. I loved it when I spawned in and realized everyone in front of me was an enemy. Hated it though when I'd spawn in, start running, and get shot in the ass from someone who just spawned in behind me.
 
If you had a good team though nuketown was where it was at for spawn killing...play HCHQ and hold down AB or CB, don't go past the middle. Easy kills.

Destiny update for those of you still playing (saw you online nick but I was raiding) -

Titan's at 302, Warlock's at 297, both individually (no weapon swapping back and forth). Hunter's lagging at 260. Got my Boolean Gemini, almost have my exotic sword, and I'm on the last part of the Touch of Malice line.

SAVE / BUY a sniper rifle. Absolute necessity for the raid. Find one with either luck in the chamber or one that gives you an extra round with precision shots and a good impact. Level that sucker up. Also - scout rifles. Not quite a necessity but definitely help a ton in fights like Golgoroth and the sisters.

If you have a raid with a bunch of guys with good sniper rifles leveled to at least 290, you can down each sister in one iteration. Golgoroth drops in 2 cycles. Warpriest in 3 (middle 2x and right once, don't have to bother with left pillar). Oryx will/should start teleporting after 2 cycles with good sniper DPS, and dead after 4.

Heavy machineguns > rocket launchers now too. Since all the bosses take precision hits and don't move around as much as say, Omnigul, rockets don't do nearly enough DPS. So save/level up a heavy machinegun with decent range and high impact/slow ROF.

Or if he has enough legendary marks he can buy the 1000-Yard Stare from the Vanguard Quartermaster. It has firefly on it

There was always a random or two that pushed too far and flipped it. BARFtron with a full party of six...then it was a magical thing.
 
Haven't played MW2 but used to play a crapton of Battlefield, and similar episodes apply:

One time after a marathon weekend gaming session, I was waiting for the bus home from work. A lifeflight chopper flew overhead (I worked in a medical center) and I actually ducked and ran for cover when I heard the sound . . .

May have felt a touch silly.

Heh. Only reason I stay on PS4 is I have my own version of BARFtron with friends I've been gaming with since the "original" Modern Warfare when PS3 first came out. Bunch of them flew in from all over the country for one guy's wedding, I got invited to 2 but couldn't make either one. Never had a problem getting 6 from the group of maybe ~12-15 people, no matter what time of day you signed on. I was usually the lowest killcount...usually with something like 50-10. 115-15 wasn't uncommon depending on who had what lane.
 
Finished charging my Agonarch rune. Annnnnd...fuck. Next step:

Eh, nvm. Watched a video. Looks pretty easy with at least one other person helping, definitely should be easy with 2 people helping. If you can kill the zealots that spawn in on the other planets, you'll be fine.
 
Did any of you folks play the Star Wars beta? Getting pretty excited about that game. We're less than a month away before it comes out.
