BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Yeah that thunderdome area was the demo. Basically they let in 6 groups of 3 people each and had 2 servers going with 3-way 3v3v3 battles. My group definitely took the "Leroy" approach and said fuck extracting our own loot, we're just going to kill everyone else and prevent them from getting theirs out. We held down the extraction zone for the duration of the demo :laughing. Which is also how I came to find out you can gank other people's legendary loot and such. Kill whoever's carrying the special items to be extracted, and you get to loot their corpse. I'm going to have a lot of fun (and frustration) playing that one when it comes out.
 
Destiny's about to have a new expansion come out, so I wouldn't bother too much with that for now (is Destiny even available on Xbox One?).

Black Ops 3 is coming out soon.

Tom Clancy's The Division is coming out eventually and looks like a shitload of fun.

New Halo coming out soon.

Killer Instinct brought me waaaaaay back if you're into fighting games. The new Mortal Kombat X is pretty fun too for that.

ton of games. I have played Destiny a lot but have gotten kind of burnt out on it so I switched to the free to play MMO Neverwinter. My wife is big on Elder Scrolls online. Big expansion coming out for Destiny, Neverwinter and ESO. Also BO3 will be coming out GTA V if you are in to that I played for awhile on the 360 but did not buy it again for the 1. Also the bonus is that in a few months they are coming out with an update where you can virtualize your 360 on the XB1. So you can port all of your game licenses digitally to the XB1. That is going to be awesome. When that happens I am trading in all of the Xbox 360s to XB1s.

From what I have heard online and from NorCal's comments the Division sounds like it may be a must have game whenever it comes out.
 
I got Neverwinter and I'm already at level 18. I just don't want to get into the crafting and all that.

Xbox1 was bundled with Gaylo but I didn't even play it. No thanks.
 
But if you want something to play on the console, War Thunder is pretty good. Tanks and planes!

It's been an open downloadable beta for a couple months now. Looks like a "done" game to me. Matchmaking gets imbalanced at times but a lot of that just has to do with to pool of people that are online.

Probably will stay free I imagine since there is plenty overpriced "premium" shit you can buy if you want.

Weird I preordered mine on the playstation web site when it was first announced. On my PS4 it says that it won't be available until the 15th. :(

The game itself won't be. But the patch/update currently up lets you preview all the crucible stuff, resets all your weapons and armor, gives the new light structure, new ghosts, class marks, and if you pre-ordered you get your artifact and faction shit in the mail already. There's a whole slew of new bounties and quest lines, the new vault system and everything is updated, materials are updated.

Only thing that sucks though is the level cap isn't bumped up yet and some stuff's glitched - enemies in POE jumped from 34 to 35 randomly between waves on a 34 run, and since the level cap isn't bumped up yet there's not really any point to turning in bounties aside from leveling up gear. But you can hold 16 bounties now so I'm just cranking them out and then holding on to them until they release the level cap, that way I'll get a quick boost.

Oh and the other cool thing is any and all exotic quests/bounties you were in the middle of are now auto-completed. So I got 2 more Thorns, another Super Good Advice, 2 more Invectives, another Pocket Infinity (and btw Fusion rifles and auto rifles got buffed), and 2 Dreg's Promises (already have 3 Lord of Wolves shotguns, which also got buffed, plus a Queen's bowbreaker or whatever it's called).
