I will retry the Zonda next time I play.

I pretty much play R2 online (unless I am playing with some friends then it varies).

I know I am running with TCS and ABS on, but I think I have stability turned off.
 
In other news...

While all the focus is on the progress of and when the DayZ standalone game will be released(which will still use a tweaked Arma2 engine), the parent company released the alpha for Arma3.

You can download it for $32.99 on Steam right now. You get in the alpha right now plus the beta and full game when they get released.

So I figured why not. I downloaded it. Oh my it is much nicer looking than Arma2 and DayZ. Character models much more detailed. However...and yeah we can say "well it's still in alpha phase" but looks like they didn't learn their lesson with the last engine. Because it is still pretty poorly optimized. And it leans very heavily on the CPU. I was running at 1920x1080 with all settings at very high. Got maybe 15fps. My video card wasn't really working that hard...never heard its fan come on so I must be bottlenecking with my CPU. But I dialed everything down anyways, turned off PPE and AA effects, reduced draw distance, the usual stuff. Frame rate didn't really improve much at all. Bummer.

I'm looking forward to Defiance. Looks like Halo mixed with Borderlands.

A forum where you have to be over 18 (not that its enforceable) and message the admin through BXL in order to join sounds great until you realize the admin is a an asshole. He overreacted to a post then banned me when I called him out on it instead of admitting he misread something and overreacted
 
Borderlands getting new life breathed into it. Too late?

A new play through possible and levels go higher than 50. New DLC. New vault hunter character.

Greeaaaat...now all that legendary level 50 gear won't make things EZmode anymore.
 
Don't think I've even used my Xbox in at least a couple weeks. Been playing the fuck out of DayZ again.

Hella stoked about that game. Anyone playing Bioshock Infinite yet?

BTW Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3 need codes for online. Guess this is something that is expected from both EA and Ubisoft.:thumbdown
