I have caught a couple of Giants games on tv, from Scottsdale,
Spring Training had games starting @ 1: pm, the heat IS on, and now night games, , ,
Giants have been winning, with little dinks, and other quirky runs,

and,

World Baseball Challenge series, USA is in the final Tuesday.

The WBC has been an interesting ride. Lots of things that weren't expected, but makes for some excitement.

Looking forward to the Orange and Black. Mrs. Budman bought some G vs D tickets. I told her enjoy the game.. I am not capable of getting down to the seats yet. DOHHH!!!

Giants are currently 16-6, atop the Cactus League by one game ahead of that team from Los Angeles. Tied with the Atlanta Braves for best overall record in Spring Training play.

Honestly, my sports bandwidth is limited now. Other than the WBC right now, baseball is kind of dead to me. Ever since the A's moved, I really find it difficult to care.

I did catch the Monterrey Sultanos game, replayed it yesterday, too.
I liked the new Giants/Giganties uni. , with the scrolling trim.
Spring Training done,

Ballers games are a blast! Great local vibe at the park where I used to play softball, and they were so much better than the other teams we saw last year. I've watched a lot of minor league ball, due to growing up in SJ and going to Bees games, and my cousin has been playing minor league ball (Visalia Rawhide, Hillsboro Hops, Amarillo Sod Poodles ( ) and the AAA Reno Aces) the last 3 years. Hopefully he'll be with the AZ Diamondbacks for more than just spring training this year!
I'm a big fan of minor league ball. The atmosphere at games is great.

Yep, even Vacaville had a team, Steelheads, ball park next to Nut Tree airport.
All gone now.

Here in Verde Valley, only high school games.

The Netflix night opener was just weird. Not having our guys announcing, the weirdness of taxis', dancers and cable cars.... but the National Anthem was superb. That Navy man is an amazing singer.

As a general rule, I like local broadcasts over national broadcasts. I tend to not care for interviews in the booth (although they did keep up on the play by play). Chisolms open mic was great.

And, I am an absolute Vasgergian fan. He's more reserved on the national broadcasts, as he has to be. But we get him occasionally for the Angels. His depth and passion for the game are unmatched, and I love his sense of humor. Religiously watch him and Harold Reynolds (and Lauren Shahadi) on "Hot Stove" during the off season.

So much fun.

Had lots of fun at the River Cats game last night. Extra innings that ended with a big hit off the wall in the 11th, tiny crowd made a bunch of noise. Haven't been to one in.....15 years? Definitely been a while. Mid-week is the way to go, suuuuper easy in and out. Gonna hit a bunch of River Cats and A's games this year now that my work schedule makes room for it mid-week.
