This is absolutely classic , you've got to send this to 419eater so they can post this up , you can well believe that ShiverMeTimbers will appreciate this one.
 
this thread reminds me of the one a while back (maybe a year, now?) of the guy selling his moto on a forum thread (not barf, but it was linked here).

he kept the thread public and appeared to be selling it to an obvious scammer. all the other board members went bonkers trying to get him to not sell it and he, apparently oblivious, posted up a series of painful emails detailing his loss.

in the end, he was just messing with the board members and it was a good laugh.

my search-fu is weak, or i would simply link it.

Naww, they know they aren't going to be legitimate.

Some people from the School of "A Sucker Born Every Minute" are scammers / cons simply because it's easy to take advantage of people, but all of them do it because they want a sense of control or power.

In this case robert_brown is angry because he now knows he never had it. It's interesting though that he thinks he can get some kind of respect by personifying himself or power by issuing vague threats.

With luck, one day he'll realise that self-worth cannot come from duping others, but only after being honest with one's self.
