Bike Scam

Oh man, 2nd day air huh? :rofl

Do they write "fragile" on the box too? ;)

it's too bad this guy has the writing ability of a 12 year old, he might have a decent scam going otherwise. unless he's not native english; I'm sure Robert's an alias anyway

tell him you are just so excited for the opportunity if he starts talking about you being suspicious again.

mail him a money gram for $.99 cents and a BARF sticker with a note directing him to this thread.

Sounds good, I'm on my way to 7-11 now.

Wait, you're actually sending him money? :wtf If he gets a dollar out of this, you got scammed. :laughing

Steve

you should see if you can pick up some fake checks somewhere. During a summer program one year a teacher gave fake checks to the students to teach them how to fill them out correctly and use a ledger and all that. Someone gave me one for a couple hundred bucks for "my services" :D

No this is where you would cross the line. This would be a crime. Don't send any fake checks.

You could always do the standard scam scam and ask them to send a photo of them holding a sign with their name on it or some shite like that

Yes don't give the scammer a cent and don't let the douche off easy.

ask to speak to him because there was a problem with the moneygramm, have him give you a number you can reach him at.

Is Moneygram similar to cashier's check where you address the name of the recipient? If so, Robert Brown is probably the scammer's name, or else he cannot cash the check.

Done.

I have the moneygram in hand and its ready to be sent your way. However, I didn't receive a contact #? I filled out all the required information on the moneygram but it requires your contact tel. number. Hope you can get back to me soon so I can drop this off at the post office.

I think this looks legit, wouldn't you guys agree? :devil

Yes.jpg

Ask for a pic of his driver license or ID.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

:hail

will that get sent? doesn't it need real money backing it?? :confused

Like I'd give a shit :laughing

Its going to be inside an envelope anyway, and I'll wrap some paper around the moneygram so you can't see through it.

When I get his contact #, I'm going to print it out at work in black and white...

and maybe wipe my ass with it after taking a dump. If anyone wants to contribute anything along with the moneygram, feel free to.

I think the best epic scam scam was the computer company that sent the guy COD BOXES like 70# boxes of broken computers and ROCKS... To Nigeria or some shite. The nigerian buyer was pissed he had to pay some $300 in shipping for a box of fawkin rocks!!! and they ended up doing it again!!!

I remember that. There were hundreds of e-mails between the sender and buyer. Epic scam. I wish this was the other way around so that I'd be sending the buyer a "bike" ... then ship him useless pieces of bike stuff (fairings, broken engine components, etc.) :)
