Bitcoin is speculative. If you buy it, expect to lose what you paid for it. Currently it has a reputation that it is manipulated. Anyone who hasn't lived in a cave the past 3 years already knows how widely its value has fluctuated without any coherent reason. Around April Fool's Day, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies moved in unison. If you didn't watch the news that day, I'd say that was the highlight that sealed the view that I have about today's crypotocurrencies. And I wonder, who were easily influenced to be the new fools that day?

same with you shilling your stock picks
i've been invested for years. trial and error and does what works for me. only posted actively on barf recently.
i guess i pushed a button of yours that made you enlargen your font size and choose red color for a response![]()

a barfer who welcomed members to PM him for investment advice. he's not qualified. couldn't even recognize the value of a dividend paying stock/ETF whose price does not necessarily go up up up ... that the only thing to look for is the price movement ... i was just looking out for the audience. i recognize the language that tries to appeal to people's greed. it helps to be on the lookout for people who spout about how much money to make so easily. if he was truly looking out for the investor's interest, he wouldn't be hyping up bitcoin the degree that he has at opportune times ...
just for your fyi, this is not a pro-bitcoin thread. none of the threads that are started are limited to one perspective. any thread that is open is open to all types of input, including mine.
Many of us see crypto as an alternative investment. Why wouldn't you put 2% of your investments into crypto. The returns since inception are positive for the majors, bitcoin, eth, etc.
