bitcoins

Shockingly my brother who wouldn't shut up about what a dumbass I am for not buying Bitcoin hasn't said a word about it lately.

Repeatedly hearing about how I'm making a mistake could get pretty annoying, I agree. So, congrats then?

Do you still have the $75 in btc he gifted you back in mid 2019? It should be worth about triple now, right?

Not participating in a Ponzi that is also destroying the planet is a mistake. :rolleyes

I think $75 BTC in mid 2019 is worth about $700 today.

Well, bad news for you guys who own CryptoCurrency. I bought $200 of ETH yesterday, so I can tell you that the price is going down.

:laughing

Bit coin has gotten bit pretty hard.

Crypto rides the market with a bungie tether. Ups and downs are magnified. Billions in corporate acquisition over the last 2 years. Mainstream financial institutions opening up retail accounts to BTC exposure. Government agencies legislating it's use. BTC being head and shoulders above where it was 2 years ago would be quite an understatement.

ITT: laughing at a kind tripping and bumping his head (BTC) unaware he’s going to grow up and be president. Blockchain is just waiting for people to die to be fully ascendant. Perception is not reality. How quickly some forget 4-5 pages back in this very thread.

Blockchain is pretty fucking stupid. 13 years after the Bitcoin whitepaper and still no real-world applications except for speculation...

Having transactions on a public ledger is a relatively stupid idea.

Since everything is still priced in real dollars, the "inflation" of Bitcoin is something like 220% year over year (accounting for real economic inflation + drop in relative Bitcoin value), and that doesn't even account for the fact that the "price" of bitcoin is in fake stablecoin currency.

Can anybody explain Bitcoin delivery contracts to me?

It sounds to good to be true

Was it at the dying Capitola mall? I know they have one.

Nope gas station down the street from me.

My understanding is those are mostly used by victims of phone scammers

You know for a long time I always assumed the regular ATMs in stores were scams... Then I realized my bank was scamming me by charging me a $3 fee for using one of those atm's.

I think you can buy Bitcoin at the local Coinstar machines in supermarkets. The one near me was flashing something about it on its display.
