XVG is still up and I have no idea why
XRP will probably continue to climb because of 2018 announcements
XLM should climb as well since Jeb is on the team and the genius behind XRP
POE went up and I have no idea why
SALT looks interesting with their money loans as a strange way to spend your crypto without being taxes
REQ up double and has a bright future
BTC is sick and will die if lightning doesn't save it
The big winner for me right now is XRP.
Cashed out of BTC around 16k and awaiting the fall to around 10k for another quick BTC grab.
How is everyone else fairing? I hope 2018 brings us all huge profits.

XVG: Up because of the Wraith protocol that’s being implemented. Although they kinda dropped the ball on the release tonight. With partial functionality. So it’s dropping and may be a good buy opportunity again. Full functionality is predicted tomorrow or so. Then sell. Or hodl.

The more I read about Ripple the more I want to get in. I have a verified coinbase, that's it.
Is it as simple as buying $2k worth of bitcoin and then using the bitcoin to buy Ripple on say Poloniex or another sight? I'm hoping that way is faster than fiat.

My buddy’s waiting till it drops to 5k...he thinks it’ll continue dropping in spurts over the next few months till it hits that. I dunno I still gotta do more reading.

You could do that. Buy BTC then send it to Binance. Keep in mind different exchanges have different prices. Coinbase is high. Can send it to Gdax as well. Lots of people buy on lower price exchanges and send to higher price, but of course you need the funds in. Look into arbritage (not sure spelling).

Ehh.. Setup Poloniex and Gatehub accounts. Got verified and all. Went to buy BTC with my linked account on coinbase and it said BTC wont be in account until the 10th. The 10th??

I'm all for making $$$ and who knows how much XRP will go up or down by then but come on. My two bank accounts are linked on coinbase. I should be able to buy instantly like on my regular Schwab account.
From my research, XRP has room to move especially of Coinbase announces they will make it available. Also read that American express may announce they are using it.

My first purchase on coinbase was a few days ago. Got a small amount of ether ( so today was fun ) .. but it seems like they 'locked' the buy order at that time so I'll be getting ether at the price promised at time of purchase though I won't receive it for a few more days. Might want to try there while waiting for deposits.

Use Binance. Took me <10 minutes to create an account, and 15 minutes to transfer BTC from GDAX.

Sounds like you purchased the ETH using the bank account linked to your Coinbase account? In my experience, it usually takes 6 days for that transfer to complete and during that time, I was unable to sell or transfer until it cleared. And yes, the price is locked at the time you confirmed the purchase.

I bought Btc on gdax and sent it to bittrex. The fee was $15!

Fees for moving shit around is annoying. I finally got around to getting into exchanges where I could buy into alts. I'd like to move from the exchange wallet to my ledger, but not with a fee every time. Bank>coinbase>GDAX>Binance is a lot of shuffling for one deal
