Anyone see Rodger Ver on Alex Jones? Funny how his BCH coin pumped 30% prior to the interview. Also funny how Alex took phone calls and pretty much every call was to shit on Rodger Ver. Most callers called him and his coin a scam. It was a rather amusing interview watching Rodger Ver try to not lose it and scream like prior interviews.

You mean to tell me someone was on Alex Jones...and THEY got called a scammer?

lol! you can't make that stuff up.

You lost me on Alex Jones. Anyone who is watching that show not for the bat shit crazy lulz is mentally equivalent of a gold fish.

No, it takes a few months of using the lead-tainted nutritional supplements he pushes before mental capacity reaches goldfish territory.

Why does it matter if it's Alex Jones. He's a fuckwit but I was there for Rodger Ver.

I've never watched an Alex Jone's show before and was shocked at how many commercials there were for his pills.

You guys should watch it for the lulz. I laughed a lot.

:laughing I have to admit, I own like four or five of Alex Jones' DVDs. Back around 2007-2010, he was making a lot of sense to me.

He was a bit of a crackpot then, but I thought he was insightful and well-intentioned. I don't think so anymore.

Because he sets the way discussion goes to appeal to his paranoia gripped audience?

But lead-and-other-metal-tainted adjuvants are ok? :nchantr

Anyway, I agree. Alex Jones is trash. A loud-mouthed sensationalist snake-oil salesman. The problem is, since his show is controlled opposition, he frequently features guests who are absolutely legitimate and whose perspectives are rather prescient.

The "war for our minds" is indeed on. Has been for decades. See: the work of Edward Bernays.

The Federal Nuclear Centre reportedly employs up to 20,000 people and its supercomputer boasts a capacity of 1 petaflop, the equivalent of 1,000 trillion calculations per second.

Wonder what the hash rate was. :drool

Many have tried with Supercomputers to mine Bitcoin or other coins. From what I have read it's a waste of time and energy. The dedicated ASIC's for Bitcoin are much faster and more efficient at mining than even a supercomputer. The only reason a supercomputer may be good at mining at all is that the person diverting it's resources isn't paying for the power it costs to run it. Supercomputers are typically super cooled and require a ton of energy to run, which negates many of the benefits to mining.
