Bulletproof Coffee

I love the internet. You can just say random stuff and not provide backup and expect people to believe you.

The human animal by nature is a hunter gather, primarily gatherers and scavengers. Food wasn't stored and breakfast wasn't eaten. You woke up, and then spent a few hours sourcing food. That's how your body evolved to work, and what's best for the human machine. This evidence is backed up by study of current HG societies such as the hadza, bmabuti, and !kung tribes. Studies on their health and athletic abilities covered in many books. I can provide sources if you'd like.

My own personal experience also with cutting out breakfast and eating on an HG daily timeline provided significant fat loss and muscle growth while increasing cardiovascular endurance. I lost 30lbs still eating pizza, before eventually cleaning up the duet further to top off at an even 40 where I've stayed easily since


The idea that humans needs breakfast, or that it's important, it's s myth. Any many more significant healthier modern societies, such as Sweden, eat very little if any breakfast.


I don't expect people to believe me. I expect entropic to because we are cool and understand each other and have developed a report over the years when it comes to training.

I get nauseous if I don't eat within a certain time of waking up and can't concentrate.

Breakfast is fucking awesome.

I used to get nauseous when I would eat breakfast. I threw up cereal on the school bus one day.

Since then I have never really eaten breakfast. I eat lunch, a snack, then dinner. The only thing in the morning is generally coffee. Never had a problem, and never lacked energy.

In fact I often have the most energy in the morning.

20 pounds in two weeks is impossible to dangerous unless you're talking lipo.

If you starved yourself on nothing but water and vitamins, you would have to burn 5,000 calories per day. If you were big enough (say, 6' 200# 30yo) to have a BMR of 2,000 calories, you would have to run for 3 hours and about 20 miles every day to burn the remaining 3,000 calories. EVERY DAY. WITH NO FOOD. FOR 14 DAYS.

You would die.

I am convinced that movie stars, getting ready for roles, resort to extreme diets. Ms. BA did the HGC diet and I think that is what the stars use. If you want to lose weight fast but not actually die of malnutrition, try it. Ya gotta take the chemical everyday and eat a lot of chard-n-stuff. Like Atkins, it's pretty hard to get much exercise when you are doing this to yourself. I think movie stars go into seclusion somewhere purty and do this diet.

I'm still trying to figure out how butter makes coffee taste "sweet" as OP indicated. And not yet willing to wreck a good cuppa joe to find out.

But hey, people like buttermilk too. Takes all kinds to make the world go round.

PS. As for Kev's post, plenty of people attempt "caveman" diets. One school of thought claims that people can roughly be divided into hunter-gatherer bodies and post-ag bodies, which crave different things. Even tho' I am fat, I apparently have a hunter body because I crave meat but don't much care for breakfast at all. Supposedly ag bodies crave carbs like pasta and stuff and the women have pronounced bodies with bigger bottoms and thinner waists. I have to force myself to eat a little in the morning so I don't get loopy by about 11. Plenty of days I wake up, and just don't want to eat anything except something to go with my coffee....I never crave pasta and rarely eat it unless its all whole-wheat-n-stuff.

Forgive me, it's Oz but here is the explanation of what I always called "pasta butts." Peaked in the 80s when pasta salad was all the rage. I never understood why people crave pasta so much, maybe this explains it, I dunno.

Gluten intolerance has been mostly found to be BS too...ask someone on a gluten free die to explain to you what gluten in and they usually can't.

thats nonsense, only because someone doesn't know the scientific story behind a diet doesn't make it less true.

I dont know how Barf or the internet works, but that doesn't make it less real:twofinger


truth is in my experience i have only good things to say about living gluten free, i didn't believed it either, but now I'm can see myself going back to told eating habits.
Again, i changed my died completely and not only based on gluten, so everybody has to find their own lifestyle
 
Bulletproof coffee sounds like it will just give you diarrhea.
