A not-for-profit tour.. Im doing the costing these days and will let the interested parties know what it will cost them.. by the end of the tour any money left over will be distributed back to the riders.. Everything thing will be very transparent. No hidden costs, no bullshit.. As Pakistan has cheap food, lodging etc. im sure anyone on a very tight budget would be able to attend this as well..


Everything is included.. Motorcycles, 3 meals a day, camping equipment, all taxes, fares, permissions, fuel, hotels, fees, boat fares etc..


I've had several meeting with Piaggio Pakistan who is sponsoring with Motorcycles for this trip, 90% confirmed, im just waiting for the official letter.. im trying to keep it cheap for you guys so im trying to do the running around and getting sponsorships..

I'm meeting Mountain Dew, Pepsi, 2 cell phone companies and Shell fuel next week for possible sponsorship help as well..


I have a detailed itinerary with exact dates ready.. I'll share em with the interested parties here..

Its going to be about 20 to 22 days.. once i shortlist the group id like to let the group choose what they would like to do and take out what they wouldnt like to do..

That sounds awesome! I would go in a second, if I could afford it, and if I could get the time off. Neither of which is likely.
 
Khan, that sounds like an awesome trip. Please send me info about this trip when you get a chance. I'm going to talk to the wife and my boss to see about time off.

I thought you were supply sergeant, so I gave a thought to going for about 4 seconds. My eyes are definitely the wrong color for that place, at this time. :laughing

dont worry about your safety, they supply everyone with vests.
 
A quick check of some travel sites shows airfare from the Bay Area to Lahore in the neighborhood of $3,000. Fuuuuuck, that's a lot. Any lesser-known sites to check for travel to Pakistan?

If I wasn't a white boy with fiery red hair I would totally go. Call me paranoid but I don't want to end up missing. Really wish I could see that area, one day!
 
I would be so down for this if it wasn't in July. :(

I already have a trip planned int he middle of my project release at work. :(:( Damn. This would be fun as hell.
