Well the last 8 days have been too much work and too much riding 
so apologies for the loooong delay in posting my pics, hopefully with the clever captions you'll think they're worth the wait! 
So herewith, the cone practice pics!
Got to the site a little late (Azn time
) and already peeps are waiting their turns: R-L holylemon, stoneed_11, and someone's red pants
SVBEESGAL was first out with some last minute instructions from masameet:
nice lean angle there SVBEESGAL!
masameet says "Head turn! Head turn! Look at me!"
and it really worked!

Next, local celebrity gmcsid comes out to give us a little demonstration and sign autographs (well ok he didn't sign autographs but did help masameet out with coaching)
gmcsid demonstrating the bike control skills that made him one of only six civilians to have passed the Alameda County Sheriff's Advanced Motorcycle course.
Note how tight he is to the end cone in the u-turn exercise:
That's over 1000 lbs of bike and rider leaned over at that angle! Nice "hinge-ing" of the upper body gmcsid! And yes the floorboards were scraping.
Peeps, it really starts with the head turn and look-where-you-want-to-go:
gmcsid comes in to give his clutch and rear brake a break (get it) with masameet and jpm looking on (more on that later):

Watching holylemon on her Ninja was a treat. She went from tentative to Dang! So self-assured in almost nothing flat.
