Dead Space - An Xbox 360 Game ( Warning: Gorey Content)

The force gun is great when fully upgraded, not only does it kill enemies but it also keeps them from getting close.

This is awesome. I'm not even a gamer, but I'm :laughing picturing a bunch of you guys standing around with cameras tearing a goat apart to make the game more realistic. :thumbup

What?

easy setting, im just no god at shooting assteroids:rofl

GREAT GAME!!!! Spent a little over 10 hours on my first play through. I am SOO happy a good horror game came out. I used to love playing the old Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Dino Crisis games late at night with the lights off and sound cranked. Please keep making awesome games like this!!!

With soooooo many good games coming out right now I tend to get distracted and bounce back and forth between the good ones but withe Dead Space I stuck with it the whole time (quick breaks here and there for NHL 09 to uncreepify myself).

:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

edit - The astroid part did suck big time though.

IM playing on hard for my first run through and im finding it very hard. Im only about to enter the morgue and find th captain and im way low on credits, low on ammo and low on health. The room im about to go into has about 5-6 damn necromorphs and Im forced to backtrack into a room where I can only kinesis bihoazard plastic containers at them. not to mention on hard it requires you to shoot the hell out of them many times just to remove a limb.

sheesh i might have to revert to an old save *facepalm* :laughing

I tried on hard first too. . . went down to normal fairly quickly. :laughing

If you can kill the infector before he gets to the dead bodies, you won't have so many Necros to deal with.

whats the infector look like...is he the one with the long spined tail?

ps i stomp the shit out of anything thats on the ground - human or not. I dont care if its trying to talk to me or help me by giving me a clue, ur getting the 3 ton steel boot stomp to the dome. if im cleaning house in this manner, this so called infector, would therefor have nothing to infect...correct?

i swear these guys come out of the woodwork at the worst times haha. Running away is futile, they follow you through elevators and into the bathroom. They thrive on the sneak attack!!!

i :love this game

i was using the bench trying to decide what to upgrade when suddenly a necromorph stabbed me in the neck! damn necromorphs have NO respect for privacy whatsoever. :x

I beat the asteroid part the first time but with only like 4% hull left. 2nd time through got the achievement for beating it with more than 50% left. helps to have a big tv so you can start shooting them from far away

Started in super hard or whatever and its pretty nuts. Helps to have played through it on normal already to know where some things are and best ways to deal with enemies

my 200 in screen from my hd projector isnt really doing it for me and i cant afford to buy anything bigger:rofl

Is there any way to carry over your leveled up guy to a harder difficulty level for the achievements?

Care to share the knowledge then? As far as I know you can carry over your characters items only in the same difficulty setting you played in previously. If you go to a more difficult level you start all over from scratch. Speaking of difficulty setting has anybody given impossible mode a try?

His outburst of yes! i'd guess is maybe he beat the asteroid part:rofl

You can't carry over to a different difficulty. While sorta lame, it would make impossible mode a bit easier if you were already decked out. I've played a few hours on impossible, and knowing where everything is helps a lot... but you gotta be on your toes

I did beat the assteroids:twofinger
now im stuck with the guy who keeps regenerating and no ammo:thumbdown

I actually read on ign i believe how you could take a leveledup guy to the next difficulty but ill have to go back and find it.
