I got mine through the distributor in Taiwan.
I paid around 500 bucks USD for it.
but no, I looked closely, and while it does look like a real pen made the signature... i think its just a repro. the signature is just too perfect...

after putting it on...

I immediately noticed a huge difference in weight between the Original Ti Tech and the White Zoo. I dont know what the cause in this weight loss, but I assume its a good thing...

I also noticed that the quality of the finish and materials had improved significantly.

Old Ti Tech

Here is a picture of the Original Ti Tech.

Notice the cheek pads are not flush, and are not covered by fabric or mesh.

Another Change...

Another difference of the new helmet is the use of a "padded" front Chin. This means that the CHIN SPOILER from the original model is no longer available.

This is good and bad... the padded chin area feels nice to the touch, but uses up valuable chin space. I dont think I have a very big chin, but I can easily push the chin guard where I couldnt on the original model

in my opinion...

I think I prefer the old style... Condensation from your breath could cause moisture to form on the fabric... and probably isnt as easy to wipe as good old plastic.

The spoiler is also an added plus for people who dont like circulation....

some problems...

Due to the new wrapping of the side panels, that area is now thicker and minimizes the amount of EAR ROOM. the AGVs were narrow to begin with, but now, folding my ears back to "normal" position is even tougher. This definitely isnt a helmet you can just slide on...

Here is a pic of the inside of the ZOO. Notice that there isnt an area for your ear to go... its pretty flush with the rest of the helmet.

original TI Tech EAR AREA

You can see that the original has a little bit more room than the ZOO... not much, but as long as you dont have Will Smith ears, you should be OK...
