DIRTY BARF Trip; Stony? Dec 6th-8th?

What a loser. :laughing

When I got back from that great weekend of riding I was trying to figure out who it was and all this time I was thinking it was OldFatGuy but was never really sure, now I know. Glad your ok and still riding.

(My) biggest challenge of that weekend was riding Leo two up on my 450EXC back up to get Tom's bike.

I too am glad to hear that OFG is doing well and still riding.

It was a fun weekend of riding. (well... except for Tom's incident)
But then... most any weekend of riding is!

What "might" you expect in December at Stonyford?

Good times! :thumbup

And what you don't wanna see at Stonyford :laughing

I was "almost" gonna post that helo pic but didn't wanna scare anybody off. :teeth

I remember the gals that drove your rolling mondo condo out of there being very leary about that task. If for no other reason than they hadn't ever driven a motorhome before. Especially that nice and that large of one!

It was actually Bob A that drove it home with Alicia (antipathy) riding shotgun and Tyler driving his big-ass toyhauler. I'm pretty sure neither of them had driven anything that big, but they both did great. Fouts Springs Road was kind of a "trial by fire" for them, I think. :laughing

It was kinda funny because I actually passed Bob on I-5 on my way home from the hospital Sunday afternoon (my wife was driving, since I was definitely in no condition to do so).

And thanks again for everything you guys did for me. I owe you a beer or two. :Port

Ahhh... that's right.
I do recall talking to Tyler later and how "anxious" she was about driving out of there.
I've been up/down Fouts Springs road enough to know it but do remember the first time I took my RV in there.

And... were all together in the dirty riding venture. It's only natural to be there when sombody needs help. Let's just hope those "needs" are very few and far between!

Indeed a sweet accommodation given the snow pics!!! :laughing

Lighterknot,

I found Camper rentals USA on Craigslist. looked into them they seemed legit 89 bux a day its about 350 for the weekend with fees. I look at it as the same cost of going DT for the weekend and staying hotels, only I get to ride my dirt bike in Gods country. My wife will enjoy the nature. Pretty good deal i think.

I agree. It's a great deal. Where do you have to pick it up/return it?

You have to pick it up in SJ near the 880 and 101 after 1pm and return it Monday before 11.

So then are you going to drive up Friday night, or Saturday morning?

I will be there at Noon waiting. I wanna get to stoneyford before dark maybe even get a quick ride in.

All,
I am posting for imgoat (kevin). He took a big digger at the Metcalf hare scramble and messed up his shoulder pretty good so he is out for a 6 months.

He is looking to see if someone wants to sublet the trailer he rented. I will try to get more information. IM me fore his number.

Alright. I have booked a trailer for the weekend. I was thinking a 19 foot toybox but then I found this beauty. a 13 foot Eco Skamper. http://dutchmen.com/image/data/docum...20Brochure.pdf

should be super easy to pull with my F-150 and I will figure out what I want when I purchase. Wife is excited to not truck tent. Excited! cant wait for this weekend to come!

Sorry to hear about the shoulder. If SJ wasn't so far out of the way from Vacaville I would at least go half on it with someone.
