Ben nailed it. Broke the front of my shoulder cup off. it is now plated and screwed. I am down for a good long while.

As far as the trailer goes. I am gonna call and see if I can get my deposit back or what the subletting rules are. if they are dicks it will be noted and i may have to come up so that ben can ride the 500.

ill send shoulder xray photo when i get them.
 
Some businesses keep the deposit but with so much advance notice will give you credit towards the next rental. With your injury I'd be surprised if the keep the deposit.

That sucks. My shoulder is still useless from being dislocated back in August. A piece of the greater tuberosity was broken off, but it was too small to be screwed & plated.

Good luck with the healing, and I hope you heal faster than I. You should, with the shoulder plated you can start using it soon. I hope to do this ride but not sure on the strength of my shoulder by then.
 
I've dislocated my right shoulder twice, the second time I got nerve damage to my deltoid, had nerve replacement surgery that didn't take but got a cool scar. I haven't lifted my right hand above my head for 5 years now but I still manage to ride my bike, you'll be fine.
 
start getting your check list goin. 1 month everybody :) anybody need some quick work done on their bike id recommend spec-1 behind cycle gear in san jose.

Nope. Different one. Thought it was the clutch cover gasket after my recent clutch replacement, but doesn't seem to be the case. I'll get back to you when I actually have some time to check it out. :laughing

I've had three KTMs and this is my first mystery oil leak. Far from my first oil leak, but this is the first "mysterious" one. :laughing
 
Hehe. If you have a cover with a small ding in it, you can put silicone on one side, then let it sit overnight on a flat surface with a little weight on it (making sure the holes are lined up), then silicone the other side and install. People say not to silicone them because they squeeze out when you install them, but if you let one side cure overnight, it works really well.
