Do you wear a watch?

I got my TAG back from Chronotek today. Just about a month round trip.
I must say, they were great to deal with. Sent emails every step of the way, and packaged it very safely for the return, and of course it was set to the proper time and date.
Thanks for the referral HH.

Looks great !

Edit: I forgot I sent them my watches a month ago too. Turns out the Victorinox stainless pocket watch my dad gave me when I was 18 is alive and just needed a new battery.

I got it when I was 14 or 15. Mom got dad the 20th anniversary Moon Watch because it was also their 20th anniversary. I guess she felt like I needed something too. I wore it every day for about 10 years. I had a dealer do a battery once, then some Zales or Kay did a battery, and it stopped again a few months later. I put it up until about 5 years ago. Dannielle took it to a jeweler out here, they did a battery, and supposedly a movement, but it stopped again a few months later.
I feel confident that I won't have any problems. It's not an every day watch, given my line of work, but I'll be wearing it a lot.

They guarantee their work too, I sent back my Russian Aviator and they fixed it for free because they had previously serviced it (I hadn't even sent it in with those expectations).

I called a friend in Florida to keep in touch, we talked and he mentioned he was selling a watch.

My wife had a two tone ladies DJ with diamonds and the gold jubilee dial which makes it impossible to read, especially as our eyes age.

My friend bought this in 04 and wore it to the office (he's a doctor) for 3/4 years then put it away. He never used the stock bracelet ever. From day one it was on a strap.

So, 3135 movement, best (IMO) style of Turnograph, I bought it for my wife.

She loves it! Also, she can read it. So win/win.

I'm still wearing this. Growing on me daily. Round crystal, super easy to read, beautiful dial that changes color depending on the light and excellent blue lume.

Back from its German vacation and regulated to just under +4sec/day like a rock.

Ya, Alibaba is my AD. :laughing

The case and bracelet were 80

The GA2100 are all marked up because casio is sold out. I found a camo one that was only slightly marked up because the camo case is hideous, but since im swapping case it don't matter much to me. "gshock" is in orange but other than that the rest of it is clean. It was either that or pay another $150.

Oh, ok. If it's through Alibaba for $80 it's definitely a replica.

Is that picture your finished product, someone else's, or a work in progress? It looks pretty sick! :thumbup

Someone else's project. I just ordered the parts with the goal of replicating the above. Should be a week or two

Cheering for you so hard!

My Swiss Army pocket watch was fixed for $35 and my Christopher Ward chrono for $150 ( :( ) but still cheaper than a new one. Will probably gift it at some point.

Pretty excited to give my BFF her 40th birthday watch. 1973 lady's omega in gold (not solid gold). It's square and classy and she wants an "adult watch" but can't afford one so it's perfect.
