I had one. It wasn’t a Rolex or Omega, but it was also $100...
I've got a Victorinox. They're pretty darn beefy...good watch.
My dad would buy me an Omega Speedmaster for my 40th but if I'm going nuts I think I'd rather have a IWC Portugese
Split the difference. Get the Omega Railmaster and call it a day.

It'd a good looking watch
bringing this thread back. take back what I said about the seamaster being my next watch, can't justify spending that much $$$. Maybe later when I can pay for both of my kids' entire college
I'm looking at field watches ~$500 for something more casual. So far the Hamilton Khaki field automatic looks good. The less expensive mechanical one looks ok.

what say y'all? No Seiko since I already have 2.
no quartz for me, definitely the automaticClassy. Go for the mechanical rather than quartz. It takes time and you'll understand why.
Hamilton, any day. The Luminox and marathon mechanicals are also good looks for field watches. Gotta find them a pretty good discount to get them near $500 though.
Keep that Hamilton the rest of your life.
Any ideas on what elseIt’s a nice watch, but IIRC you have a Cocktail time and a more utilitarian Seiko? This Hamilton occupies some of the same space as your utilitarian Seiko, but is much more tacticool/mall ninja. I’d pass on this one and save pennies for something else.
no quartz for me, definitely the automatic.
Any ideas on what else? I'm open to other watches. I'm still on the fence w dive watches because I do not have a ginormous wrist. That plus a reasonably priced dive watch would mean another Seiko.
Currently I have the SARX017 (semi casual) and SDGM003 (dress watch). The SDGM003 is the max size for my small wrist.
