Do you wear a watch?

Rob congrats, nice black Omega. But also shiny!!! :laughing

(I'd say it's probably pretty massive.. a separate release valve AND 600m?)

... and.. luckily yer not baaaaynned now!

yo dawg, sweet Apple watch!...

Yeah.. I agree with Kornholio, cool Apple watch too! :laughing

43.5mm. Not the biggest ever. But definitely bigger than something like a Rolex.

I don’t plan on starting a new career as a saturation diver, but it’s nice to know that it could easily survive snorkeling in Maui...which my last watch did not do.

Apple Watch is the work watch still. And even that I take off when I actually have to dig in to a car.

Took that pic after I sized it. Big big props to Omega for using screw set link pins instead of press fit ones. Just a small flat screwdriver (which of course someone like me would have) and it’s pretty easy to add or remove links.

I have other watches, but my Apple Watch is the most functional for work and life in general. Thus, it gets the most use. :dunno

One of the newer ones they came out with when the Series 4 released. It’s called Infographic I believe. Pretty useful since you can have 8 “complications” in addition to the clock hands.

Oh I see...Series 4. I need to upgrade...

My Omega was delivered to work Saturday, was off Monday and forgot about it Tuesday and was out of office today...always worried until it's back in my hands.

Pretty friggin awesome to pull up to the Chevron pump on my bike and not have to dig out the wallet, take off any gear, or whatever. Just Apple Pay with my watch on the pump and good to go. Check text messages with the flick of the wrist, see that my resting heart rate is still decent despite my absolutely horrific diet, weather, well you know all the things it can do.

But I gotta say, there’s just something neat about having something with all these small precision moving parts that you can wear.

Someone told me after I spent like 15 min changing the date that you can keep turning it back to like 10 or 11 and it should change the date again without having to go all the way around!

That's beautiful man, we'll PM you with teh secret handshake.

Up, up, down, down, left, right, B, A....oh wait that’s a different one.

Yeah thank you, I love it. Now the true secret code is to staaaahp. The voice in my head saying well now you need a dress watch has got to go away. And soon.

Oooooo. That’s new. A more dress version of the Snowflake. I like that. I like it too much. Damn you.

I actually looked at the 211, the actual Snowflake Grand Seiko. I really can appreciate the hand built and finished nature of it, and didn’t give a shit that ignorant people would think it’s a “cheap” watch because it’s just a Seiko. But the Snowflake is titanium. It was too light, and I wanted something with some heft.

This new 407 is steel. Which makes it very dangerous.

Damn. You.

Updated budget collection shot:

1966 Omega Constellation Automatic, Stowa Marine Classic 36, Poljot Russian hand-wind, Raven Endeavor Automatic, Omega Seamaster 300M quartz and my 1992 Tag Formula One quartz

The constellation actually lights up better than that just not at that angle.

That vintage Omega is just too cool. Can dress it up or down easily too.

That Russian pilot watch is sharp. The lume reminds me of a Panerai for some reason.

I bought an electronic Timex in 1966 that looks exactly like your vintage Omega! I no longer have the watch, but I thought at first that your watch was a Timex.:wow
