Favorite Old Video Game?

bushido blade was a truly badass game. I wanted it so bad I ordered the japanese version and had my friend translate the instructions. a seriously innovative game, that while had its issues, overall was incredibly good. the levels were HUGE. chose the weapon you want, and the character
. no life bars, no time limit, no stage limit...a bushido code of honor and even hari kiri suicides

the american version above was kind of a shitty port as they chaged some stuff
 
I pretty much never play video games anymore, but I find myself getting nostalgiac about the landscapes in Carnivores: Ice Age. Sometimes I still even have dreams about being there.

It's not really old. Didn't that game come out in the late 90's?

I think playstation 1 is probably too new too, but that's just me.
 
I think certain playstation one games are allowed myself. I mean many of them are 15 years old or so. games like FFVII ushered in the modern era of games.

Yeah I'll let FF7 in, but everquest is too young.. :p

I remember playing FF7 in high school on my chipped playstation (but I think I borrowed the game from my friend).

I only got a third of the way through it, it was pretty good though.
