Favorite Old Video Game?

I lost many many hours of my childhood to this game. Released 1981. I guess I'm actually dating myself now, aren't I? :laughing I liked it so much that when I happened to see the Wizardry Archives sitting on a shelf at GameStop years ago (1-7 and gold editions all in one) I snatched it up!

Everything so far posted pales in comparison:

:hand I was trying to stay out of the Arcade from the 80's, because we could go on for days, but we all know who the king was.

Hell yes, I remember that game (played it on PC)! One of the first computer games I ever played. Recognize this one?

that's Kings Quest!

I used to play space quest and leisure suit larry.

my favorite old one? probably the Ultima series. I put the most time in part III, both on the apple IIc and the macintosh. once my mom got a pc I picked up part V and played it a lot as well.

agreed. i've actually looked into buying one of these units; but super heavy and expensive to ship; large... and hard to find a working one, and hard to keep them working

that and Contra.

I loved Ledgend of Zelda, felt like a tweaker at times staying up till 2am playing it. Mario bros too.

Super Smash TV co-op with my little bros on their Nintendo (Super?) was laugh-out-loud, play-it-again, all-night, wear out your fingers fun. I'll buy that for a dollar!

Dude! Archon was amazing and I've recently wished it was still around. Why the hell not? BTW, those were computer games not video games. :nerd
