yo just wondering any you guys ride fixed gear here? :wave

fixed gear bikes are gay!!

You should roll out to SF and ride with us! Jeremy and I both have track bikes, though he rides with a freewheel...there are a lot of us here in the city.

I got an alumnum KHS pursuuit track frame brakeless sorry got me twisted for someone else :twofinger haha fixies are for fags agreed

Woohoo fixed! Itssssoghey.:teeth

Hellyer anyone?:party

I just got a four door car... and it came with a bike rack to hold four. For free. How awesome is that. Now I don't have to wait for Bishop to not pick me up in the morning! It needs some new tires, but that's about it... and I hear the park isn't that far from Caltrain either... and you can drink on Caltrain...perfect for the ride back home!

I swear to God, we are going to do a Southbay pub crawl this year.

If you'll be my wingman Dion, I promise to pick a fight.

*Duh, I read "pub brawl".

bringing this thread back to life! ... lol yall wanna meet up for ride sometime?

I'm down. You can make it to SF?

I have been riding my new cross bike waaaaaay too much... I almost feel like I'm getting out of shape! I need to ride my track bike more.... Thursday night?

You've been riding your cross bike "way too much" and you feel like you are getting out of shape?:|

Obviously you are not doing something right. Please feel free to join us, Devin, Grey, Aquetas, Joshua and maybe a couple other guys for a cross ride on Sun that will open your eyes to what cross riding is really all about.

Just remember that if at some point during your ride you do not have to pick up the bike throw it over your shoulder and run up a hill with it you are doing something wrong.

That bike is real pretty but why is it so clean? I'm embarased for you Will:twofinger

Ohh a fixie thread.

I'm surprised there wasn't one sooner.

You missed out big time Willis. That was a blast and Josh is a monster. He did it on his steel single speed and passed us all (even Devin) like he was on a casual ride.

o

I fucking suck at the intranets

So... Anyone going to post up their fixies? hahaha.

I'm currently building one. I'll post pics once finished.

THE NEW RIDE, BIATCHES!

Been doing a nice loop from my house in Almaden down to Morgan Hill and back via Santa Teresa Blvd. No tight jeans with the left leg rolled up... it's serious business with me and Mrs. My poor wife, I really push her but she's an awesome riding partner, especially when she's really on it. She rocks the Schwinn Super Sport Hybrid like it ain't no thang.

But alas, track bike takes second to flatland.

I'm really over sffixed and sjfixed. Those forums are elitist central. SJfixed won't even let me on their board (they think I'm going to spam my tt pads) - maybe I have to not wear a helmet, lose about 100lbs, wear super tight jeans and trade in the clipless pedals and Aero bars for leather straps and a 8 inch wide flat handlebar or Nitto drops without bar tape. Oh yeah, I run a brake, so I'm probably not getting the Zen-like feeling, either. And my bike is properly fitted - wow... I realize that I ride a fixed gear - but I'm not a fixed gear rider! :rolleyes

I'm considering taking the Motobecane to Hellyer when I have a chance. We've been flatlanding so much lately (there's a group of about 28 or so Nor-Cal riders) that getting out for a Saturday morning track sesh is tough. I like the fixed, though... keeps me from getting too burned out from BMX. :)
