Same Judge Benitez that ruled Freedom Week (ala March 2019) ruled yesterday the Kaliforniastan was again wrong in their ammunition purchasing laws. So, after a 2-year reveiw and new standards from the Supremes- he ruled the laws are null & void.

No longer do everyone have to endure a background check to buy a box of bullets. Nor do they have to be delivered in-person from an FFL, mail order right to your house is on again.

Newscum is beside himself I am sure. :twofinger

Wait, no stay on the judgement pending appeal? California just going "Oh, darn, well better luck next time"?

To be fair, the ammo thing has been a solid deterrent from me going to the range, just One More Thing to put up with. So it would be nice if that was all gone.

I ordered yesterday from TrueShot and its already on the move via Fedex- to my home.

I was going to give up shooting my 9x25 Dillon because I had to order ammo from Underwood. Better check their website to see what’s in stock.

They tried with Benitez, and he shot them down thoroughly. Then, as berth mentioned, the state submitted the stay request to the 9th, but no action yet.

Target Sports has said they'll ship, and there's a running list here, near the top. Thought i saw something about a list on calguns as well, but i'm not seeing the thread.

Oh that's interesting. Would be keen to see that exchange.

As I understand it, original, the first "freedom week", they didn't ask for the stay, and that it's just been an "automatic" thing they've been doing (and he has been granting) since then.

The state is all over the 9th to close this door. Best getchasome while you can.

So that's why I got a bunch of random emails from places I shop about shipping to CA all of a sudden a few days ago. well congratulations my Californian friends and may the ammo gods always rule in your favor. Nothing beats getting a case of 9mm or 5.56 delivered to your door via Fedex/UPS.

Now if we can get a window to buy some larger capacity mags......

Dealers and distributors are running out of inventory very quickly. Best getchasome soon than later- and the 9th could close the door at any time.

The newly added 11% sales tax (tax on tax= sure is) starts July 1 for all things gun.
