I'm loving the Humboldt County commercials, with the dead of Arizona Summer pounding hard and hot,
outside.
My last summer there 2020, hiding from the 'Rona.

Last stand with the Cards,

It is a Brewery thing, AB, brewing Budweiser in Fairfield.
When it opened, it was a Teamsters Union shop from the start.
They hired employees from St. Louis, permanent, with union card, for Fairfield.
Mostly people that had permanent status, full union membership, and keeping seniority on time worked.
But, mostly on lay off, and on call. This move gave them plant seniority, over the local hires, and 40 hours a week.
So figure Cards fans, big time, Gussie's team.
Plant those senior teamsters, in the Bay Area, and hire locals to fill in, Giants fans.
The brewers end of the locker room, Cards territory, vs, the rest of us Giants.

I'm glad they made it to 81/81 plus the Adames' 30 HRs.

PBO Gerald Dempsey Posey III has his work cut out for him to retool for next year. Top of the agenda is if Melvin stays or goes. I lean toward moving on because he's too much of a technician and does not inspire the team. Also, he is a hold over from the Farhan Anxiety era and the AAA's connection which I think should be purged from the Giant's org. Second on the agenda is what to do about the pitching especially the bullpen and the closer.

Not behind the scenes but don't feel Melvin is the issue. Might be a way for Buster to get Bochy back. Roster was flawed, not Melvin's fault. Adames decided to start playing in July. If he actually hit at the start of the season they'd have made the playoffs.

I got forced to watch game 5 of Seattle vs Reds? 11th inning on.

Old rules on extra innings ?
No pinch runner on second, start of inning.
Why?
This morning I was mulling it over again, I don't remember the pitch clock, in use either.

MLB wants two hour games during the "season". ? They have to settle on three hour games.
Playoffs revert to 5 hour games, and are welcomed, and bragged about,
Different rules, cause asterisks * , , ,
