Golden State Warriors 2017-2018

Celtics will probably be quite good next year. Probably.

About that game 4, though... You're not going to lose when your starters are playing like this.

Good god...

Good god...

Before both benches played the entire 4Q, it was the highest FG% by the Cavs in a playoff game ever. And even with that, it was still 59.5%.

Raptors weren't playing the best D, but the Cavs also just... didn't miss. One of those games, I guess.

I didn't sit through whole game, but damn, LeBron made some great shots. Circus things, off-balance, you name it. Wow. And as shown, the rest of team was feelin' it.

In the end, despite the changes, the rocky season, the Cavs are in it. Talk about peaking at the right time. I don't know if Boston truly can beat them in best of seven.

The body language of the Raptors was just defeat, defeat. Man, that was painful, ugly b-bal in that regard.

A friend called the Raptors "mentally weak," which is kind of cliche, but I think applicable. When game 1 went to OT, one could just "feel" the Raptors would lose, and once they did, the series felt over.

I think the Cavs beat the Celtics (different story with Irving and Hayward), but lose pretty badly to the West winner.

Yea, it's sad in a way. Toronto was amazing this year, but the the Cavs have now won 10 games straight against Toronto in playoff ball.

It's sort of like the Cavs being unable to beat Miami at home since what... 2010? The Raptors just can't beat Lebron, no matter how hard they try, no matter what seed they are, no matter how good the season has been.

I feel like a jerk. Canadians are nice people.

Yeah, I like the Raptors, but my guess is they rebuild. They may have reached their potential with the current lineup.

I don't feel bad for Canadians, weird "zes" or whatever they like to call themselves.

Naw, LBJ is the only player in his class to continue to break records, all the other superstars of his class has retired or become bench people or dont even get mentioned anymore at all.....

He on the other hand is playing more minutes in playoff and regular games this year then he has any other year of his career.

And his stats are fooooqn amazing.

His stats should be declining with his age, however coaching and his team continue to let him carry them everywhere they go.

Winner faces a weak East team, either the injured Celtics or the carried Cavs carried on LeBron's shoulder's, so yeah.

How many people not in Ohio or the Bay Area are going to be all "fuck basketball" if it is GS vs Cavs for the fourth year in a row? :laughing

Kes, seriously man, you don't think Lebron and Lebron only and a subpar east is why the Cavs are 4 wins from the finals again?

Aside from Kevin Love and Lebron, the other 3 starters on the Cavs wouldn't start for majority of the teams in the league. The games still gotta be played so time will tell but everyone knows the Cavs don't play defense and are skating in on Lebron's shoulders. Even SNL did a skit making fun of that.

Either the Celtics or Sixers can give the Cavs troubles with matchups. Tristan or Kevin love gonna guard Embid?

Lebron not gonna waste his energy all game playing defense to guard Tatum or Green.

If the Celtics or Sixers just focus on shutting the 3 ball down and preventing the Lebronettes from scoring, Cavs will lose. Lebron will get 45 buy the bench and other starters will be a combined 30 points.

Both LeBron and Steph are national, even international "brands" so I dunno that fans think that anymore than any other rivalry runs that took place.

Having watched every game this season, it's amazing how many #30 Dubs jerseys you see in all of the other arenas when they do audience shots. I think more than just here is rooting for him and what he represents. And LeBron has plenty o' fans too all around the country, if not the world.

If I could endure all that Lakers stuff, then, well, it's somebody else's turn. I just got used to the idea that that other team had the talent at the time. Lakers, Bulls Celtics all those great runs were just matter of fact.

The East had some tough teams this year. Pacers were super tough. Toronto WAS good until they weren't. Boston is unquestionably a fantastic team, and even more so once they get Kyrie and Hayward. Surely even YOU can't deny that?

Please keep in mind you guys ALSO wrote off Cleveland back in 2016. It's hard to say what a team will do until they get there. Everyone thought Cleveland would get wrecked by the Cubs in 2016, and it went down to the 11th inning in game seven. Cleveland had half the payroll of Chicago, and only THREE starting pitchers. If the other two aren't freakishly injured, Cleveland wins a series everyone thought they would get slaughtered in.

You can say 'X' guy wouldn't be a starter on some other 'good' team, and say that Lebron carries the team... But think of this another way. Lebron takes average guys and turns the whole team into something else. He isn't a Westbrook... He's Lebron. He elevates every single person around him. Anyone and everyone who has ever played with him says just that.

So again... don't write it off as a bad thing. Maybe Lebron is what is making that team great... but great play by an individual is still great, no matter if the facilitator is internal or external.

If Cleveland can survive a plucky Boston/Sixers team, then I think they'll have a shot at going the distance. You can't ever rule out a team on which Lebron plays.

meh, MJ #23 will steal the show and fans attentions if you put him, LBJ and Steph in the same room. But i like where both LBJ and Steph came from, hard work pays off.

I guarantee it. MJ is treated like a fooqn god this generation, past generations and future generations.

Like for example Kobe, he aint gonna hit the status MJ ever had.
