Golden State Warriors 2017-2018

LeBron is the GOAT but this basically describes how I feel about him in the eastern conference

100% agree that he’s the GOAT, and I grew up watching Michael Jordan.

But LeBron would not be THE greatest if his entire career were in the western conference. It’s unfair and I hate that, but it’s not his fault that the non-LeBron East teams are weak.

Jeez, I feel bad for Toronto. Great year, finally seems like there might be a chance to win the East, beat LeBron, etc.

I wonder had devastating that game 1 loss was for the collective psyche...

This is quite true, however he got some more skill and talent then jordan (size strength power exertion)

and i think jordan is holy grail all time, but i still think jordan had more desire drive and effort and more smarts with the ball.

but james smarts with the ball has definitely improved through the years.

Who is to say Lebron in the west wouldn't be equally dominant, on a team with great players, with fists full of rings at this point?

It's a pointless comparison to make. "WELL IN THIS ALTERNATE REALITY, BLAH BLAH BLAH"

Sheesh, maybe he would, and that would be fine.

But in the actual reality he has it easy. And yes, he’s still the greatest basketball player who ever lived.

Lebron is not better than Jordan. I’m not sure Lebron is better than Kobe yet.

Jordan turned Pippen and others into HOFer caliber players. Lebron hasn’t turned anybody into a HOFer player. He’s also had to dismantle rosters and such, jordan didn’t have to do that.

The finals record doesn’t help. It’s a debate neither side can win arguing if he’s the greatest. It’s all subjective really. I think Kobe has more killer instinct then Lebron and has 5 rings. Scored what 60 at age 39? That’s nuts.

It’s insane seeing Lebron this dominant at 33. He’s probably got 2 more years at this level then possibly years off the bench. He’ll play to 40 and still be top 10 players in the league.

One more for the Warriors and it's onto to Houston. Anyone think the Pelicans will win on Tuesday?

Jordan was Defensive Player of the Year. LeBron never was, or will be.

I can't believe I'm about to defend LeBron, but Jordan had much better help in that his teammates had more potential. I don't think Jordan could have turned Zydrunas Ilgauskas or JR Smith into HOFers.

And if LeBron had a Pippen or even a Rodman, who knows how many titles the Cavs would have.

Jr Smith and Ilgauskas arent HOFer player so Lebron didnt do it either.

Pippen couldn't win in Portland on his own. Granted he was older.

I think Jordan is the best and considering the era, it's not even close. How many trips to the free throw would Jordan have got in todays game?

or a Wade or a Bosh

Boston and Sixers beating the shit out of each other.

Everything is going according to plan.

Lol I guess we’ll see if LeBron becomes fat and ineffective (cough Jordan on the Wizards cough) when he’s 40 and chasing his 15th trip to the finals.

Which is likely as long as Lance Stephenson remains his biggest “challenge” in the East.

Celtics will probably be quite good next year. Probably.

About that game 4, though... You're not going to lose when your starters are playing like this.
