how much would you pay for this? / is this somehow fixable? pics inside

Nice find on the ebay frame $995. Likely next pricey item is rims(F/R) $500-600 and fairing set for $800. Thats two and half grand for starters.
Basically it's an engine and supporting components sale. Engine mounts have good change of being cracked. Welding them is no problem, it's the internal seals damaged by the heat might mean taking the engine apart.
Usually a project bike starts with a good chasis. Frame, forks, a rim if your lucky.
It's an engine purchase for someone who has a chasis waiting for an engine.

What we got here is not a bike, but a set of questionable parts. Anything can be repaired, but some time the price makes repairs impractical. Unless you have a frame or a same model bike which is lacking an engine, I wouldn't touch this pile of parts. The risks are high (it's possible that forks and rims are bad) and the returns seem extremely low.

Basically it comes down to, how much is your time worth to you?

Run. Run like hell.

It sucks big time to repair bikes that have been in a major accident. Yes, personal experience.

It comes down: Do you have a project that can use a GSX-R motor. If so, offer $500 for the motor. Otherwise, forgettaboutit.
