This works, cost me $20

Well 3rd, 4th, 5th time the charm (I lost count).

Check this out, so simple, so easy, so cheap, no blind spots now,
kicking myself for not having though of it sooner.

$20 for mirror mounts from flyncycle, used my old stock mirrors.

Questions for those who might be interested:

-How are you attaching the camera? Does it need a leed to attach to the battery for power?
-How is the HUD attached to the helmet? You said it requires a rechargeable battery right - what kind of battery?
-What price are you ball-parking for the "kit"?

camera (Fry's) is mounted under my tail section and requires a 5v power connection, so i tapped into the power cable to my license plate light (this way only draws power when key is on)

HUD is attached to Helmet via a small yet very strong magnet (this keeps it stable and vibration free yet adjustable)

cable runs from camera in through tail section under seat, gas tank and comes out at the same route as my clutch cable and attaches to the control unit containing the battery (all included)

price 350.00 (parts alone cost 300) also throwing in a cable that allows connecting a cell phone for things like gps, porn etc


BTW im planning a quick run up to Alice's around 4:30 today if anyone is interested in checking it out

Edit: I see you have a 2fiddy virago... Now I understand why you're worried about what's behind you. I like cruising just faster than pace to NOT worry about that kinda thing.
