so what's the thrust here? we're just a bunch of mindless animals? once we start down that path - where does it end? can't speak for you, but i do keep the world i wished i lived in in mind, because if i don't, there's absolutey no chance it will ever live or survive.

with regard to michael - personally, i prefer men who sweat to those who carefully cultivate an image.

I do too, but I'm also practical enough to choose where to direct my energy. I suspect you are too.

I get the outrage, but current reality for Kate is that is she doesn't want some scumbag to take nude photos of her, she can't make herself visible to the scumbag.

yeah, i get that and totally agree. just have enjoyed many a romp with my SO in semi private situations, and feel sad for anyone who can't enjoy the simple pleasures of life without worrying about the consequences.

She chose her destiny, Willy didn't have a choice in the matter.....not like I care.
 
I've "fallen in love" with a few women and it was just an impossible future life for me and them. You have to know when to concede and realize that it insn't realistict. I feel sorry for Willy having had the camera on him since he was spit out. I don't care if he was born into it, a scripted life is no life no matter how much money or what position you stand to inherit. Kinda like the Truman Show or EDTV.

not sure how this became about wills (other than being the object of her affection), but with regard to falling in love, and realistic futures - if you really love someone, never say die dude, because if you do, it will.

Or more apt, she knew what she was getting into.

I'm not saying I support or condone the celebrity worship and obsession that our and Britons cultures see to have I actually think its abhorrent, I'm just saying she knew exactly what she was getting into
 
It's not just the US and UK. Look at Rossi and most other MotoGP stars. The reason they love racing in the US is because they can pretty much walk down the street unoticed.
