*Liam's Wild Ride*

Anyway, we look forward to seeing you at Laguna and taking you away to Sac to check out "the scene" up here. Yeah, we didn't laugh too much about Garvey's, and Lisa felt very accomplished.

Carl

Hey, if you drag him to Sac you might as well drag him to Fair Oaks too. :D

I'll supply the beers and racebikes, you guys supply the company!

I was thinking downtown where there's nice "scenery" and maybe Folsom. Isn't Fair Oaks more of a farming community?

You don't get out much, do you. :laughing

"Downtown" Folsom is about a 10 minute drive from my house. While my house indeed used to be a farmhouse some 80 years ago, Fair Oaks no longer has farms. :D

I know I know, I got your proof. I was just giving you a hard time man, see signature. Yeah, if he actually follows through and comes north, we'll make the rounds. But that's a coupla months away. And Liam, I know how good you are with the follow through. ;-)

Hi Liam,

When you get a chance, could you give us more details on what happened to Alex? Black Flagged.....

:(

Thanks! Go DUCATI!!

Hi Guys,

I'm at the track today, Monday, for a tire test (and other cool stuff for the bike), but it's been raining and I'm not sure if we're going to run or not. Everything is being shipped directly to Turkey, and then on to Shanghai for the following races, so we're strapped getting everything ready here at the track. I wish we had more time to prepare everything at the workshop in Madrid before everything left, but that's the way it goes. I'll be back in BCN by Wednesday, and should be able to write a bit as we have a few weeks before the next race.

Thanks Everyone, for the support, and I'll be able to get a little bit into everything once I'm back at "home-base".

Liam tell Steve Bonsey well done. 13th in his 2nd ever 125 race and his 5th race ever on pavement!

+1000 Don't think a lot of people have heard of him but at least there are a few of us acknowledging his accomplishments so far!

Can't wait for your write-up on Jerez. The energy from the crowds seemed excellent. Jerez has to rank as a must see on the MotoGp calendar.

Hey Liam....I dug deep into the video vault and dug up a race from 1991. Barros was riding for Cagiva and his helmet made by Arai. I noticed large letters of LA on the back of his helmet. I can hardly remember last week let alone 16 years ago. Do you know what LA stood for?

Hey Dan, not sure what "LA" stands for, but I'll ask him in Turkey.

Duke, I talked with Stevie before and after the race, and he's pumped. He was hanging out at the Red Bull hospitality and chasing girls on Saturday night, so he's fitting in just fine. Time to steal some of the limelight from Bradley Smith . . . . .

And about Ilmor, I can't say how I know, but I get the feeling they're not coming back at all.

If it's true, it's too bad. A series like this NEEDS as many competitors as possible, *I* think.
What ever happened to that Porsche built power plant that was rumored (and photographed) to be coming out?

Lonster

Yo: :shhh (talking about the Monkey)

Z
You'll both have to toss liam crap that his bike is so plain and boring. He'll have to smuggle some GP parts to install on his bikes like calipers and rotors...

Yeah, but mine's a Honda! No amount of gussied-up fancy-fluff will ever change that, just as no amount of chrome or paint will ever make a Honda a Harley-Davidson. Bwahahah, I know exactly what you're talking about, too. . .

Ooooh, good comeback. I wonder if you'd notice if I swapped frames with you :p

j/k!

Mine will be ready for the monstrous 3-man SF Monkey meet when you come back through in some months...

bring me back some tires! :toothless

See if you can convince Brad to ride across the Golden Gate while we're being filmed . . . . that sounds like fun!

All we need is to get everyone above 150cc's... or go rebel style and just make the run and hope for the best!

Either way, I'm there. :thumbup

checking in from Arizona

So, given that Jerez was such a snoozer in the heavy weight class, how does Mr. Barros feel now that they are moving onto tracks that no one tested at this year? Does his decades of experience automatically move him up to pole or a front row? Also, if you're allowed to say, or pretend you know :shhh , is his Ducati still on par with Loris' and Casey's? Or are they past that shift in development where some of the factory goods will win or lose a race? Most everyone, except John Kocinski and Max Biaggi, knows that the latest factory pieces are not always the winning combo. Just ask Nicky Hayden or one Mr. Doug Chandler that.:x Can Alex win a few this year Liam? More than one? Three or more could get him a title in a year where Vale's not so pissed. This year it'll probably take at least five "w's", if not six to beat The Doctor. That's just my own warped, biased opinion though. Hopefully, all the single guys on the crews are pushing hard to get the Rio round returned to the circuit. ;) I know I sure miss it! :teeth

It's not 'LA'. It's just a big, red 'A' with blue stripes on either side of it. The one on the left happens to look like an 'L'. :teeth
