P.P.S.
I am also looking for TWO (2) Umbrella girls for Laguna Seca. Know anyone suitable? Send them my way. Seems like I've gotten another job responsibility added to my normal routine :)

You are going to have a stampede of girls contacting you but I’ll do you the favor of screening them for you. So Girls, please PM me with how you can be contacted for private interviews.

Liam, I am on it so this gives you one less thing to stress about. See you at Laguna!

You can ride my Ducati. She'll be fresh off her 6k service and ready for some lovin'!

I'm all over it Oliver - that would be fantastic!

I don't have time to post anything up right now, but rest assured, more goodness to come. The "silly season" has started and some of the rumours I'm privvy to are mighty interesting. I think next year might eclipse this one, although this is definitely one for the ages!

Jim, I knew Sara was with special "K", but it never occured to me she might know some other girls. Good thinking!
Pete, nice vid.
Everyone else? Get ready for the wrap ups from Assen, Donington, the pre-Germany stuff, and (cue drum roll), a limited run of MotoLiam shirts and stickers that will be available at Laguna Seca!
Thanks for helping me put something together everyone, and talk to you soon.

I'd like a shirt. How about donators get first dibs? :teeth

Hey-- this is my first post. I've been following the grand tale of Liam in his GP quest here for many months-- it is fantastic and Liam if get the chance to meet you in person one day I would like to give an ol' pat on the back since it is definately deserved as your journey you have shared has been encouraging for us with a desire to seek a goal, and also you seem to be getting on great over the pond!

Although I've been quietly observing for a few months, I wanted to write in to share my news today that I just won a pair of tickets to the Laguna Seca GP and though I hadn't planned on going this year, my wife and I just scoped out and found a great airfare and bought it! So it looks like we are on the way--- now to find places to stay...

We were thinking of doing a visit with a friend in SF on Friday after we arrive, camp at the track Sat, then take our luck on a room somewhere Sunday, as we fly back to South Carolina on Monday really early.

Any advice? Please reply offline PM or email would be best since I don't want to distract from the MotoLiam saga :) Any advice on how a person with minimal stuff brough on a plane and being in a rental car might get along in the camping saturday night would help-- in other words, can we sleep in the car in the campground?

Liam, hope it is going well at Donnington, keep working hard and send an update now and then here on the board to your folks back home. Also looking forward to more on motogpod podcast...

Oh yeah, if there are "liam" shirts left when I get there I want one autographed!

Cool, she's all yours. You really should be on a Ducati anyway, considering your employer. :teeth

Just keep me informed dude!

You lucky bastards!!! :) I'd love to make the USGP but it's not in the cards this year. I'm already gearing up for next year: Mugello! And I'm hiring a bike too

Sign me Up for at least 3, my boys want one too. They totally dig the pic In the pit, with the "gigwat" smile. Better have your writing hand ready, no doubt signatures will be requested, now that you're a STAR. Good to see you'll be riding the "right" bike. LOL

Nothin' like DP.

Careful though, it's big. Thank K-Dog, everyone.
P.S. No such thing as the "right" bike, because they're alllll good!

Nice exclusive. Next time you'll have to get on one of the big bikes and do a lap. Or maybe ask Randy Mamola for a hand.

Also as a sidenote, you can edit vid (mpeg-1 or -2) made w/ your camera in iMovie but you have to separately import the audio if it's "muxed." PM me know if you want the details.

Re: Nothin' like DP.

Right on Liam- great vid!!

Love the sound effects "wweeeeeeee"

''eeerrrrrrroooooooooowwwwwwadinging"

"O no! the fuel lights on- don't know if we can finish the lap! O whoa- 7mph!!! YeeeeHaaaa"

Just awesome dude!

Gotta joke! I know your stand, anything with two wheels. Aren't I supposed to at least fake at being an elitist!?

I think you need some different rollers for the variator and either take a drill to the exhaust pipe to open it up a weee bit or get Leo Vinci to donate a pipe! :)

Who forgot to tell Wayne Rooney you never step on the family jewels of another man.

Hey folks, need your input for tshirts!

If you haven't seen my post about tees, please post a reply asap.

Everyone, please check the general section for this thread:

MotoLiam Tshirts

This will be the only time I put the watermark on anything but my photos - anything I make in the future will be completely different. These are limited edition, one time only shirts, and thanks to MrsPeebles and Endo, we're trying to put something cool together so that everyone can get a little more involved and represent. We need a two week lead time before Laguna Seca to get everything done in time for the party on Friday night at Blue Fin, and if you are even remotely interested, please let us know. I am afraid I can't handle this personally, because I'm not in California, so do your best to let my friends know what you're looking for because I want everyone to be happy.

Thanks MrsPeebles and Endo!

We're well into the season now! With three races just finished in three weeks, and another two races in the next three weeks, that makes for just about the busiest time of the year. To top it off, I'm trying to organize some tshirts and appearances in the Bay Area following the race at Laguna Seca! Kenny Noyes and I are also busy trying to get everything sorted for the three AMA races he will contest starting with Laguna Seca, and we are desperately looking for R1 LE rims, so if anyone can help us out, we can definitely help them back <wink>.

I'm back in BCN for a couple days before heading to the Sachsenring GP, and immediately following the race I will be on a plane to Sunny California. That means I've got less than one week to prepare for two races, and several weeks away from my base of operations here in Spain! I'm looking forward to being back in Cali, and I want to see, feel, and taste as much as I can while I'm back. Oliver will hook me up with some wheels - so I'll be mobile - and because of that, it feels like the sky is the limit! I just need to figure out how to get all my riding gear back to SF, along with my work stuff!

I have a couple hours free this week, and I'm behind on roughly a hundred emails I need to send. I also want to post some updates to this thread, so I'm going to juggle everything and hopefully make something cool happen.

I'm going to wrap up the Catalunya GP with a spy photo someone got of me cleaning and inspecting my wheels, and then I'll continue with the Assen GP. I got some great stuff at the Donington race, one video of which you've already seen thanks to K-Dog.
