McRib

+1 for Hardee’s biscuit anything. Prefer Popeyes’s to Nojangles (that was spellcheck, but I’m keepin it). Rando convenience stores sometimes rock biscuits too.

My introduction to Biscuits 'n Gravy was at a Popeyes on Fort Stewart in Georgia. For YEARS I tried to find some that tasted as good at greasy spoon diners AND other Popeyes. Nothing came close. Years later I asked my buddy from Mississippi who was also stationed there what was up? He said, "THAT was a very special Popeyes" :laughing

Finally I found their match.... at The Pork Store in SF on Upper Haight. :thumbup Pure Flavour Country

#Not_Junk_Food

or is it? :laughing

While I’ll agree that Wendy’s chicken sandwiches are decent, saying they’re better than CFA’s is just a flat out lie. :twofinger

Having eaten both the regular and spicy version from each establishment on a somewhat regular basis, I stand my my assertion that Wendy's has better chicken than Chick-fil-A :x

The Chick-fil-A sauce tho. That stuff is crack!

Don’t know what sort of oil they use but leftover Popeye’s is disgusting the next day. Becomes a lump of horrific congealed crud.

Regular chicken sammich is better at Chik-Fil-A. But the spicy version? Wendy’s takes the W on that one.

Jack in the Box didn’t put a lot of effort into coming up with a mascot.
Got to give the kids something to get excited about, that one ain’t gonna do it.

They sell it by the bottle here. I have one in the fridge. :cool

Considering I wouldn't touch a spicy chicken sandwich in the first place, I'll have to take your word for it.

When we door dash cfa at work we always order a bottle of sauce :laughing

You are definitely on to something. I am a fried chicken fanatic. I used to be madly in love with Popeyes, but now I can barely eat it w/o getting explosive diarrhea. I am fine if I only have 1 or 2 pieces, but my problem is that I don't just eat 1 or 2 pieces. I eat 6-7 pieces and I will suffer for it.

The older I get, the less tolerance I have for fried foods. I will have to try the new KFC Nuggets. Thanks for the tip.

Wendy chicken sandwiches used to be good, but they've fallen.

The batter they're using is different than it used to. I find them much drier than before.

I like CFA, it's the seasoning that makes them stand out (i.e. 4 tablespoons salt, and a touch of paprika), their batter, not so much. But they are hot and yummy, and I like their Spicy sandwich as well.

Chili's has a decent chicken sandwich. And Chili's is a bargain.

For $11 you get Salad, or Chips and Salsa (or some other thing, there's a list), a solid cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink. QP meal at McDs is close to that, and this knocks it out of the park. For a couple bucks more, you can get the chicken sandwich. Ask for Buffalo sauce on the side and it's, tada, a Buffalo chicken sandwich.

I went to Chili’s last week for first time in over a decade. Got the boneless wings and a chicken sandwich, both were terrible.
Won’t be back for another decade if ever.

Nuggets. You got chicken nuggets. There's no such thing as "boneless" wings. :mad

Maybe strips? But probably not nuggets. Nuggets are made from mechanically separated chicken ground into a meat paste and extruded onto a cooking tray.
