Missing emissions stickers

Wow, not doubting you anymore. Bizarre!

CG bring ups an interesting proposition tho: So long as it had out of state plates, would you be willing to take a chance and reg it out of state?

If your driver's license is from California that won't fly either, you'll (probably) get a fix-it ticket to register the bike within (IIRC) 10-20 days or the fees grow exponentially.

My friend registers his 3 trucks in Idaho and pays like $120/year combined... but, he has a vacation rental there so he has a Idaho license too; he just tells the cops he's visiting family if questioned.

Good point. We haven't that issue with out of state company vehicles, but those are clearly work trucks, etc. Motorcycles seem harder to justify the non-CA reg. I suppose it's worth a shot and with a good enough story...we'll get a good story back here at some point.

Sounds like I need a 12"x12" plot of vacation land in Idaho, just enough for a locked mailbox. Next business venture, however you won't get the "Lord" title like you do in Ireland.

wow, you would think it would go by vin in their system. i mean how hard is it to counterfeit a sticker
