I feel as though mods are the biggest baited folks on BARF. They seem to ban people for defending themselves from a troll. Are they the easiest to bait?

Kidding aside, I think the mods are awesome!

You know that, there are a lot of
other ways to get your message across with out being rude and looking
un-sympathetic.

I think the mods are pretty patient and reluctant to suspend. But I have never been suspended so...

Yeah, like what? Your "clean pass" may not be the same as my "clean pass". So cough it up, or I am protesting and saying you should go back two places for unnecessary politically-correct-barf-slinging under a waving mod yellow.
 
If you are having a problem hearing the Mods, just DON'T ask them to take the cocks out of their mouths so you can hear them better. That's what got me my first suspension. It was in reference to a Kathy Griffin video posted in the Sink Pics section of her on New Years.

I thought it was funny. :laughing

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring
to, i'm not exactly a
stranger to being suspended, but I learned from each lesson
and I moved on. They are all for stupid stuff I say in the FS forum anyways.

Just joking around... but I get it..
On the other hand, barf has such a big group of folks, especially in the
kitchen sink, where we don't always agree
eye to eye. And to me, that's what makes things fun.

There is no trolling going on. Just a simple question asked to the community on what they think. Not trying to get a rise outta anyone or trying to get anyone banned but there does seem to be something up that should be discussed. Please don't turn this into a pissing match.

One of the few private messages that I have sent over all this time was to apologize for my terrible response to someone, here in the Sink. That person was known to troll, a bit, and has been banned.

It seems odd, since his response to my apology was "I don't even remember. It's just the Sink. Don't worry about it." So I stopped worrying, and soon after, he was history. Then I started thinking, "maybe he wasn't THAT bad of a troll, after all." But, I REALLY cut people slack on their online words, because I SURE as heck need the same in return.

knowing the person in real life makes a huge difference too.
nobody i've met in real life, and that i've argued with
online acted the same way.
we're all humans anyways!

Happens every year. People start getting banned. People start bitching at mods cause of the bannings. White knighters come out to defend the mods.

it's funny, when someone popular gets the hammer, suddenly then the rules are called into question. As if somehow, popularity is supposed to mean the rules don't apply. And we get a dozen threads opposing the rules and defending someone who's been here long enough to know exactly what should and shouldn't be done and did it anyway.

Way I see it, the "popular" and the veteran BARFer should instead be held to a higher standard. N00bs look up to these people, and emulate them. Yeah, it's not "fair" but used to be kids over the age of 12 knew that "fairness" is an illusion anyway.
