Moto/ATV "Flash Mob" closed the Bay Bridge last night?

Good to see that the CHP figured out a game plan on this. I am sure some of the bikes were NOT stolen.

So what do the people that left their bikes and ran say... "My bike was stolen earlier that day" or even better. "What.. My bike is not in the garage?? You are kidding right?"
 
The bikes and ATV’s confiscated should all be crushed and those arrested should serve at least a year in prison. A real prison, where they can be fucked in the ass daily.

I'm assuming they are not the riders for the most part.
 
I forgot that. If they were stolen, then they should be returned and the thieves should serve even more time.
 
I watched something on YouTube (or maybe read it, I dunno) from somebody who was stuck in a car on the bridge during the event. They said a bunch of young people came running past them, then a couple of minutes later they're running the other direction with LEOs after them. Something else about LEOs tackling people on bikes to take them down.

Is this the first time they've been able to capture the majority of the people doing this stuff? This should go a long way toward putting an end to these takeovers.
 
Morons. They give real motorcycle riders a bad reputation among people that can't tell the difference between an ATV and a Harley.

Might be hard to tie in the bunch you saw with the bunch on the bridge from a legal standpoint.
 
I got caught up in the backup for a bit when I picked the dear wife up at SFO. Thankfully we got off and went Golden Gate through Marin. Turned out to be a good move, we found a new Irish Pub in San Rafael and had a nice dinner on our way home. I saw the news video today. Bunch of AssHats!

Oakland police on Monday said officers arrested a total of nine people and recovered 77 dirt bikes and ATVS stemming from a chaotic scene in the Bay Area, which included an hour-long takeover of the Bay Bridge.

OPD says more to be arrested. In the vid you can see one dude running away after jumping a fence. Looks like a lot of criminals got away and probably think they are good. Be interesting to see the full arrest shake out.
