It'll be a badass bike. But we know the pretty solid jump the Ducati made this year. And avintia is getting factory help, Pramac Already does.

I'm not sure the Honda Proddy will be better than those bikes, especially if those teams get periodic updates.

id be surprised if Yonny gets a GP15 anytime throughout the year. Yonny didnt get a single mechanical update this year. he finished the season on the GP13. hes getting the GP14.2 for 2015 and he'll prob end on that too.

i think the Ducs are like this:
Yonny - GP14.2
Petrucci - GP14
Avintia - GP14

given what Cal did w/ the GP14 towards the end of the year, Petrucci shouldnt be at a disadvantage. Barbera never beat Aleix straight up, but he had so little dev time thats its not a fair comparison really. who knows with that one.

I know it's raining, but still:

Loris Baz - ".....The first impression on the wet is good. I wanted to know how the tyres work on the wet so I took advantage of the rain to test.....Despite two crashes, I’m satisfied.....”.

Yeah but Ianonne was getting the full factory treatment at Pramac. So we know they get big support. Yonny was always meant to ride the gp13 all year. That was kind of the deal.

it wasnt Pramac getting big support, it was Iannone. Yonny aint Iannone. Yonny will not be going to the factory team ever and hes not going to get factory parts at Pramac.

hooray, no more factory engines in Moto3.

RuleChange said:
- Moto3 class engines are allocated randomly during the season in three separate batches. To ensure that engines in the different batches, from the same manufacturer, are of identical specification, an engine will be selected at random from each distribution and used as a reference to check randomly selected engines from subsequent distributions.

a few other notable rule changes for next year...
- In a situation where a rider anticipates the start with a slight movement but then stops, and is stationary when the red light goes out, Race Direction will be the sole judge of whether an advantage has been gained and if a penalty will be imposed.
- When riders are adjudged to have exceeded the track limits during the race then Race Direction will decide what penalty is to be imposed. (Automatic drop of position is no longer the only possible penalty).
- When a group of riders are being lapped and the blue flag is displayed then there can be no changes of position within the group of riders until the rider lapping them has passed.

the start and blue flag changes are def more fair. i doubt theyll get used much, but at least Mike Webb has the option of the doing the right thing.

All I'm saying is the resources are there should they decide to

As long as they don't introduce a start procedure for when more than half the grid dive into pit lane to change bikes after the warm-up lap. The start in Germany was my favorite moment of the whole season.

yonny on the grid is important for the argentina round. to have a south american on the grid is monumental to get people all the way out to butt fuck egypt, aka rio hondo. also, having him on a somewhat competitive bike will entice south american companies to invest in sponsorship. think about how yonny got there, ill give you a hint, its cartel money.

los zetas cartel racing team coming to a grid near you

^WTF is going on in Pol's garage?

really!

uh oh - threat or danger?
in my 'hood, we callz it "Head Casing" - lookie here:

@birtymotogp

Scott Redding had another bash at head down
after race and he did it at turn 11.
He gave MCN evidence. Top lad

That one showed what Rossi was. Most of the riders didn't get the idea that it would be a white line start. Rossi made a point of being one of the first riders there. And he didn't mind a little fairing banging either, :laughing .

So what happened to Colin Edwards final Valencia ride?

Forward Yamaha boss Giovanni Cuzari told MCN: “Unfortunately it is not possible. I don’t have the money to make this investment and Yamaha doesn’t have the bike to supply me for the wild card. We can only do it if Yamaha help us, otherwise no way unfortunately.

"We need more human resources. We can’t touch the Yamaha engine, so we need people who can work on the engine for a third bike."

Yamaha had already ruled out the option of running a fifth factory YZR-M1 for Edwards, with the Japanese factory boss Lin Jarvis saying: “There won’t be an M1 from Yamaha. There might be a Forward Racing bike if he chooses to ride and if they choose to supply. It is entirely down to the team.”

Colin's been done a few months now, doing his bootcamp thing and M1 test riding. I doubt he cared too much that he didn't get to do Valencia. Oh well. Farewell.

Kind of saw that coming when he didn't make the other races he said he was going to.

Thanks for the memories Colin, hope to see you at the bootcamp someday.

If Giovanni Cuzari didn't have the money then that is a terrible sign for Forward Yamaha in 2015.

There are already rumors that they may run Kayaba suspension next year and if they are that short on money to even finish Edwards' contract then I can totally seem them cutting corners and taking a Kayaba deal.
