MM's crash was so weird, cruising, short shifting, and according to data from Michelin, tire was already up to temp.

Pol does a Colin Edwards ...
EGB-SYKXYAASwLf

Why Colin and not MM??

Man that Repsol bike did some crazy gymnastics. :wow

its always so stressful to watch those crashes where the bike is doing cartwheels inches behind the rider's head while they slide into the kitty litter

And here we are with four damn Yamahas in the top five. I don't want to hear how slow they are, ever again. The whole thing is silly. 10 more h.p. on those Moviestars and MM will be begging to be traded.

Marquez crash speculation time:
There was that KTM high side at Aragon. Related?
Is there a glitch in the software map, where you get all the bytes lined up, just right, and blame there goes t.c. or other niceties?
Slipper clutch - he was decelerating. Could it be a bad setting, or spring, or plate, etc?
He's an idiot and can't ride worth a damn. Shouldn't even have a Aprilia seat.

Maybe... in the vid they said just like someone else did in '97.

Thanks Matty... I forgot about that or perhaps never saw it!

That's the kind of crash can be career killer if you're unlucky... Live by the sword, die by the highside.

Puig blamed Marquez for being off line on a dirty part of the track.

Official MotoGP link, so it shouldn't get taken down... Not the best view, but whatever.

I remember watching that Q session and my mind was blown. It’s crazy how much the broadcast team lost their minds over that save 10 years ago and now we watch Marquez do it weekly and it hardly gets a nod since it’s so commonplace for him.

Colin was great for the sport! I wish we had US talent with his personality on the world stage again. Maybe some day...

I don't know if "hardly gets a nod" is accurate. Matt Birt and Steve Day act like its the second coming of the Lord everytime MM makes one of those wild saves and the Dorna feed shows replays about ten times. While Colin Edwards did it first, MM has made bigger saves at higher speeds and every one of them looked well beyond saving. A save like that is impressive no matter who does it.

I think Poog needs new glasses.

Not off line. Where was his TC?

I watched, listen, replayed and watched and listened and replayed. But he was cruising and any inputs were extremely minimal. My guess is his there was no electronic intervention due to the fact there was minimal input.

He could've been off line in T3 prior to next right hander (T7) where he crashed. Maybe he picked up something there? But the way it snapped around while cruising without warning was really strange.
