Amazing last lap!

Fabio will get his win in these last few races for sure

Phillip Island and Sepang should be really good for the Yamahas.

Actually...... :nerd

Those were the top speeds ONLY for Q2 in which there was only 1 Honda participating. Here are the combined top speeds for Q1/Q2. I deleted the slower rows for the two riders that participated in both sessions (Petrux and P.Sparagus)
Furthering my logical argument. There is way too much made of this one straight speed measurement. Yamaha wouid have finished first and second - except for ONE GUY, not one Honda. The Hondas aren't as fast as the Yamahas. Otherwise, the standings and results would be different. The goal is to finish ahead of the other guy, not go real fast for 12 seconds and then go slow for most of the lap.

Are we now worried about a 1kph difference for less than a second which is less than 1mph? They didn't give Rossi the slowest Yamaha out there. That is absurd. He is 10kph (6.2mph) down because he is doing something wrong in the corner before the straight and doesn't have the same speed to start the run to the trap as the other Yamahas.

The 8 ball celebrating was REALLY STUPID and annoyed the hell out of me. Congrats to the Champ despite the silliness. He ran a great race. He really learned a lot from those two last lap losses, this year.

I can't say I'm surprised.

What a great place to win the championship. The crowd was going nuts from the time MM closed up with two laps left. Another SE Asian marketing bonus for MotoGP.

Moto3 and 2 both delivered great racing.
I am excited to see Binder on a GP bike.
Amazing to watch him back it in lap after lap.

Big swing in Moto3. Dalla made big points.
A different Binder shook shit up there. :laughing

So, they mentioned that Zarco may be Yamaha's European Test Team rider. Not a bad deal for him.

Mad

Watching the highlights on MotoGP.com just reinforced how special 93 is.

We get to see one of the best ever at a minimum do his amazing thing on a bike that seems not to be the best ever. He is fricking amazing.

Thanks for the entertainment Champ :applause

I thin Marc will stay put till he breaks a few more records and then maybe he will jump ship. I think he would do well on a Ducati, but maybe he would like the challenge of going to KTM.

I think Marc will hold station with HRC until they have a new dude that can beat him. He has such an opportunity to win 10 plus at just 26yo.

I don't see him as being the guy who needs a challenge to prove how good he is. His teammates have been doing that for him for a while.

Whats the appeal of going to Ducati?

Ducati:
"This week we have a new fairing on the swingarm."
"This week we have a new device to aid starts."
"This week we have a new wheel covers for aero."
"This week we have some other doohickey."

Rider:
"Does any of this stuff help win races?"

Ducati:
"Probably not."

It's very likely a better bike. Look at all the other Hondas. They are way down on the list. Only other Honda to do well was crutchlow with a fluke podium. So he would get a better bike and would be able to shut up people who whine about him only being on honda furthering his greatness.

I'm joking about Ducati.

While its possible the Ducati is a better bike. The Honda is obviously working for Marquez and he's not complaining about it.

Nothing groundbreaking here but Simon Crafar provides great plain talk explanations about spring rates and preload in his MotoGP Tech Talk segment. He mentioned during the live stream last weekend that he used to be an Ohlins tech in the GP paddock.

T...
Puig blamed Marquez for being off line on a dirty part of the track.
...

Puig is just living up to the HRC tradition of denying mechanical faults...

con rod poking out the bottom of the case, oil blowing everywhere

HRC spokesperson: "electrical fault"

because a rider of petuccis caliber can win on it, but a rider of dani pedrosa and jorge caliber, can't win on the honda
