My parents' house got all new wood flooring for only a couple grand. I think they did something like 1000 square feet. It all depends on how good/exotic of a wood you want and how much floor you gotta cover. There are places where you can get great walnut/oak/bamboo as well as granite/marble tiles for significantly less than those giant specialty stores sell.

As for the roof part, I couldn't tell you. GL

The remodel as a whole has got to be bank...the copper gutters, tile roof, paint, wood floors, etc, etc are pricey...I'm thinkin 6 figures at least, I'm curious cause i wanna know what to expect.:wow :wow

It's not just materials. If you're not doing it yourself, construction contractors cost $$$. To top it off, I think you have to get city permits if you're going to change stuff and have a contractor do it.
As far as materials go, red shingle roof tiles would probably be the most expensive just because of the square footage and a relatively high per unit cost.

I have seen home remodeled for the 10s of thousands and other into the 100s of thousands. I have a friend that is about to start a 300K remodel of a house and the house is not as big as 777's house.

My guest bathroom cost me 6K and I did everything except the shower and toilet relocation. My kitchen will likely run be around 25K and I am doing the majority of the work. I am looking at about 7-10K just for cabinets (materials only).

Remodeling is expensive.

Nice house 777.

beet, these materials are more expensive than some others but they will last 100+ years. I can give you specifics next time I see you if you want.
