Honestly, at 135 you're probably not in the powerband for your top gear yet. That sounds like high fourth, maybe mid-fifth gear range to me. My '94 FZR 600 would pull about 140 in fifth gear, and shifting into sixth it would actually slow down a bit.

Ah, well.........I suppose technology does have its glitches. Though generally speaking GPS is pretty accurate. :)

The hardest measurement for a GPS is altitude. If you're moving along at a good pace and going up or downhill, they can give you some pretty impressive numbers. Especially the older ones.

I have gone over 9000mph on a go ped. I derestricted it and added a racing spark plug.

BS. You would need a fairing and carbon fiber brakes for that speed.

Its true I got a picture when he was racing Mille Racer on his buddys gixxer and no its not a photochop.

I do have a CF thumb button on my bell and TiNitride coated handlebar tassels. My go ped can also divide by zero.

man i just read through all 9 pages of this and ive yet to find out who exactly he was racing out there:wtf

You just have to look at it as you're moving along for a bit, then it's very accurate, but every once in a while it does some wierd stuff. The speedo on my Mille is very accurate though. And it's nice to have it off the rear brake as you can change gearing without having to futz with it.

Give the guy a break, he's an adrenaline freak. (with a big mouth.. :bs)

Mille, you need to check the Pitot tube of your bike, i dont think your speed is accurate any more, maybe next time use the Pitot heat and make sure the Static is not iced either.

So now, can you please enlighten all of all of us which one is more fun, going at 220 mph on the ground or 9.8 m/sec2 in the air??

Oh before i forget, what is the engine on your bike?

:rofl

Running a TF-39 probably, should check if the pitot's still have their covers on before he de-ices......:teeth

(sigh) for the 3rd or 4th time
I have 17/38 sprockets
1060cc motor, completely mechanically and electronically derestricted, 150hp dyno tested

Wait, I just figured it out -

He's got the 38-tooth sprocket on the front, and the 17 on the rear wheel.

It would take a while to get there, but that combo might see 210 at 9900 rpm.

Don't forget gang, earlier this year MikeT said he did 205 mph in an RC 51 so this is very possible!

Fuck this fucking shit - I fucking WALK 210 mph on my way to get on my Aprilia. SHIIIT. Why, the starter motor alone propels the bike to warp 5. This one time, I felt a little frisky after taking a really good nap and decided to actually start the engine. And that's where the universe came from. :x
