I doubt that you actually reached that speed. ALL motorcycle speedos are notoriously inaccurate. The only way to tell for sure is to run GPS during your run. Otherwise, take off about 7 percent from the speedo reading. At higher speeds, the speedo gets more inaccurate.

Hell, modified 'Busas have a hard time breaking 200. No way you did that on your bike. Yea, you were going fast. But not close to 200.

Sorry.

Sorry.

After my last ride my GPS listed me as having a max speed of 360mph. :thumbup

Motorcycles are very un-aerodynamic and to get additional mph requires huge increases in hp. To reach 200mph requires A LOT more than 150hp.

The Ducati also has that feature where you can save V-Max, lap times and such. I bet other bikes do also. How about a Busa or RC51? Any other brand owner want to weigh in on here?

A Busa's, top speed can not be measured, nor spoken about openly, plus it's well known. :x

Ah, well.........I suppose technology does have its glitches. Though generally speaking GPS is pretty accurate. :)

But I have a 1993 CBR 1000F and the previously owner told me he personally got it to the 185mph on the speedo.

I have a hard time getting over 135 in top gear. Maybe they both know secrets to obtaining maximum velocity.
