My Ongoing Pirelli Angel ST Review

I hope you guys aren't taking this cat's tire reviews seriously. Its should be obvious based on prev. post this guy has damn near zero credibility.

either that or he is reading the odometer wrong.

I have one, ride an Aprilia or 4, have an Angel ST 180/55 ZR 17 with 800 miles (including Dyna Beads) and would you take me any more seriously? :laughing

Well of coarse rear tires last 1/2 as long as front tires so I will speak on rears.
According to my maintenance chart for my last RSV, my Pilot Road 2 lasted me from
48,300 - 61,200 ODO miles, that's 13,000 mostly commuting miles from 6-6-08 - 1-9-09.
HOWEVER as I previously stated, they were horrid in the twisties, they dramatically
slowed my pace down, made me lose confidence, and they seemed... kinda unpredictable
to me while in the twisties. But they lasted like 5,000 miles longer than my corsa 3's.
But I do ride the piss outa my bikes so stay tuned and I will let you know how they do.
I am taking my X g/f for a ride Sunday so I will see how they handle in the twisties 2 up.
you claim to ride the piss out of your bikes, but you somehow get double the mileage out of tires as most people. something doesn't add up.

I think his speedo has been set on KPH all this time. That would explain it all.

I don't mean I abuse them or beat them up, I mean when I go somewhere, anywhere, I ride.
I don't mean I ride hard, I mean ride alot.
The only time I ride hard is when I am in the twisties.

Also to Karbon who doubts me, I ride my tires past the safety point, to the point when a pebble could puncture the thinnest point.

Also ask around, I have heard others' stories where people got as many as me.
When you get a bike that comes with them stock (well used to) alot more people have experiences with them. Don't just get reviews from people who use them on the track.
And my review is based on previous reviews? so that isn't my bike in the ppic I posted? SURE :rolleyes and people should take a kind gent such as yourself more seriously? someone who posts NO personal information about themselves and doesn't make themselves known on the set?
Not that I try to make myself known, but it is hard to miss me.
And when you do say hello to me regardless of who you are, you are greeted with a smile and a handshake.
I just meet rhythm ryder at cycle gear a few days ago when I was purchasing the tire.

I like the direction in which this thread is pointing. Mille, how do you have so many miles on what appears to be the same bike you've had since you joined here, and still have dealer plates?

I don't have the same bike, this is my 3rd aprilia RSV, I purchased this is September after someone hit me on 680. And I have dealer plates cuz I never got a license plate. Until I am cited for It I will continue to have it.
and of the perks: free bridge toll, If I don't trigger a light I am not phased by red light cams etc etc.
I have 6,4** miles on my current RSV, it came with Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro's and I bought it with 000 miles from Vespa of Long Beach in LA.
And since I just changed the rear tire what does that mean?
It means that however many miles are on the ODO is how many were on my tire.

OH, you didn't say stock Pirelli front, now i believe you :thumbup

Front and rear, yes.
The front still has good tread, the rear had wear bars showin 1/2 way around the tire.
The rear had 6,231 miles on it when I changed it, I then added on some miles yesterday
and today and my odo now reads about 6,4xx miles so that is how many miles is on my front tire.

the lack of credibility you have on this forum is not due to the volume of personal information you share.

If people don't like me fk 'em.
I don't want anybody not to like me, I think of myself as a very nice approachable person but I don't owe anybody anything.
If you don't credit me or want to listen to me then there is the "back" button. *points to back button"
But yet everytime I end up posting my experience in something it is always and only you that posts something to try to discredit it.
Don't you have anything better to do? You know you n darlean could always go for a ride or something.
or are you one a those riders that mearly talks about riding but never does it?
My life is an open book that people can read, if you want to keep yours to yourself, then go for it, I unlike you have nothing to hide.

paint it how you see man.

I have a few friends who are not credible in any way when it comes to technical stuff, as in they don't know what they are talking about and exaggerate circumstances for some bullshit reason, but I still like em.

maybe i'll spot you a beer or something one of these days, maybe a few other barfers as well, but based on the shit you post here, I'll take damn near everything you post with microgram of salt. :)

I have extensive knlowledge in a few thing, but general knowledge in many things.
If I don't know for a fact I am right I won't say anything or if I do give an opinion I will say I am not positive.
Am I still wrong sometimes yes as everyone is cuz people can be mistaken about what they know, but then again,
you can also mistake people.
Sort through my posts with a fine tooth comb for incorrect facts, I don't care.
but continually posting "remember when he said this" posts makes you look like a douche bag with nothing better to do.
though many of those posts are funny and make me laugh
