Since not one major prediction about the doom of the earth has come true in the past 50 years I am not worried. Nothing in Al Gore's move has proved true. I hope my children can see thru the BS.

Taking into account our results on the GMST modeling one can conclude that anthropogenic forcing does not produce any significant impact on the dynamics of AMO and PDO indices, at least for the INM-CM5 model.
I heard Mark Levin on his show yesterday bash the whole concept that humans cause climate change, and he seemed to suggest it just our mere arrogance that we would think so. He also stated that a Russian model most closely predicts actual climate change. Further, he notes that great climate changes have allowed humans to evolve and proliferate the planet. There have been great climate changes in the past that were clearly not caused by humans. He notes how the narrative has changed over time to serve the agenda. I have not looked for this Russian climate model.
You know, I'm not sure how this attitude squares with your nationalistic world views. Also, you have expressed a lot of pride in your family. So, why not care about future generations? Even if you don't have your own kids, I would hazard to guess you are Uncle Eldritch to someone.
Maybe protests don't work very well today, but let's not gloss over the fact that voting doesn't work very well today either.

No, voting works great. That is the nice thing about Democracy. People get exactly the Government they deserve.
LOL, I can remember back when BLM was happening and Channel 7 interviewed this dude at a March in Oakland, when asked how this would effect his votes in November or some shit, dude started talking about how he wasn't voting for anything, because the system was rigged.![]()
None of my brothers or sister have any kids yet, but it is simple. Protest solves nothing, changes nothing, and goes nowhere. Please spare me any example from 50 years ago back when people cared about street protests and marches.
You want to tell me how many of these dumb ass kids are registered to vote, understand civics, read laws thoroughly before they vote on them, and actually go to the polls on election days, now that is interesting.
How are we defining how well voting works? I know you are hip to both parties mastery of Gerrymandering. Until that shit is fixed, voting is broken.
Our Eligible Voter turn out is usually around 50%. Protests bring about awareness of an issue.
How impactful they are depends on how much independent research we want to do on our own ...
You would have loved the couple with the unicorn and dolpin models on new montgomery at aboit noon. They posted their three small children on these models in the middle of the street attempting to block traffic. Real genius parenting there.
Same groups of dipshits at all these "protests", save for the kids just going out as an excuse to skip school on a friday.

Isn't funny how most of the nations that rate on the highest quality of life and happiness indexes are up over like 75%?

Our Nation and our Democracy are failing because people want it to. They are letting it.
